No Name Bar — Restaurant in Winona

I love that there is a stage for music and a little dancefloor on one half of the bar, but another more "chill" half with tables and booths, along with foosball, pinball, and pac-man! It also has a very safe, yet still fun energy in this bar, nothing like the "college" bars down the street. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! Love the local artwork, and the lighting. Ed's has a long history serving craft beers and hosting a wide variety of great entertainment. Over the years it's developed into a type of community hub playing host to art openings, the local home brewers club, local and regional musicians and community group meetings of all types. The place is smallish and cozy with a sophisticated atmosphere, but not pretentious. The back yard provides for relaxation and occasional star gazing. This is exactly what Winona needs, a respite from college-bar-topia....

Had a great time, strong drinks, local beers and great bands. DO NOT STAND IN FRONT OF THE COOLERS though lol. They don't ask you to step aside, they just uncomfortably and aggressively shove ya. I found out that the really hard way, got pushed (with some understandable anger) by the bartender, which pushed my girlfriend, which pushed into the person next to her who then spilled their drink.
