As far as prices go and Overall satisfaction 5 stars. You will not be disappointed here that's why they've been doing good business for so long. Overall everything is great, Great prices and overall friendly staff but this is more of a request then a review. The only issue I have is consistency. Sometimes cooks screw up it happens but sometimes the chicken needs to not get overcooked and the Seafood soup needs to be more wholesome and needs more cream and meat. Also we need Italian wedding soup! I don't want to have to complain about it I want to tell you guys, "Great job, was delicious, thank you and I will come here everyday". Few times I get the soup and I fall in love. Was wholesome soft meat, scallops, cream it was amazing. Today I got some seafood soup and it was still watery and only has some hard chewy shredded pieces of meat, not enough creaminess & and mainly shrimp. I am craving it to be as good as the times when I love it! Please! Lol since you read the reviews Brian. & If someone is being disrespectful and claiming fighting words they should not be allowed to stay in the store period. I was harassed by some dude who wanted to fight for no reason that I never even seen before, I am always calm, cool and respectful, not a violent person ever. He was threatening me and then girls acted like I was in the wrong for sticking up for myself and that hurt my feelings as a loyal customer. This is my favorite place but I just need more consistency. At your best, 5 stars but just keep it at the best please when you can. I don't want to have to second guess weather the soup will be sub par or the chicken burnt then you guys waste food and I waste money it's not good for anybody. I go almost everyday so I'm bound to run into some issues that's natural but I just want to be able to trust that I will enjoy the food cause I don't work right now and am very low on money and need to eat. I order from here weekly and I use to love their food! The customer service is horrible but I get my food and leave. Three times now my order was wrong, I live 45 mins away and I have returned to get it corrected. No apologies, no future credit since I come weekly to compensate for their mistake and my gas just attitudes. Tonight I was told that my order can be remade and I explained that due to the rain and distance I would not be returning. I was then told to bring the food back next week when I come in and they will remake and honor my order... so not only do they take food back that has been taken home by other customers but now they accept week old food instead of just giving me a future credit for this inconvenience. Also it's been "cash only" for the last year, I have to ask constantly over the phone because they won't tell you ahead of time. The wings are smaller than ever, though the sauce is delicious. And avoid the meals as the meat is always old with extra sauce covering the actual meat to hide this, the mac and cheese is horrible and the bbq chicken is hit or miss. Small BBQ place in a strip center mainly used for take out. The menu was huge between BBQ, burgers/wraps, soup with quite a few sides. Our BBQ platters of ribs and chicken came with two sides for a pretty cheap price of $12 and $13 each. The sweet sauce was pretty good but it smothered the chicken and ribs (not my preference) and the meats themselves were quite good. This is one of the very few places I've found in Jersey/Philly that actually had dirty rice and it was easily my favorite food item today. The Collard greens were ok but needed some seasoning besides the salt and pepper given to us. The sweet tea was on point. The young lady that took and orders was nice and it took maybe 20 minutes to get the food but they were pretty busy with the take out orders being placed. The inside had a few tables and a very loud TV so just plan on a take out order being the best bet. The three stars were mainly for the atmosphere, smothered BBQ and unseasoned collard greens.
