For reference, I almost never leave negative reviews. It takes the worst of the worst for me to even want to give the time to type it out.. that being said…
The door to this location was locked 20 minutes after opening. I knocked and called and eventually one of the four employees who saw me came to unlock the door. The employee didn’t open the door or even push it open slightly but quickly turned and walked away. Next, the person taking my order talked so quietly I could barely understand her. I asked for chips and queso once my bowl was complete, stood at the cash register, and nobody moved, including the person that I had requested the chips and queso from. After standing there for 3 minutes with no engagement from ANYONE, they asked me if I wanted anything else besides my bowl. I had to repeat that I had asked for chips and queso. The two employees looked at each other and giggled. They rang up my order, put a bag of chips on my tray and, after I had paid, informed me that there WASNT ANY QUESO. The clearly unintelligent and mannequin-esque person running my card just blankly stared when I asked for a refund and then had the nerve to get an attitude with me after their restaurant provided some of the most blatantly lackadaisical customer service I had ever experienced.
It’s no shock that this location has under a 3 star review average. I should have done my due diligence and looked at the reviews prior to visiting, and that’s on me for putting myself through what others have called a dreadful experience.
If you are a manager or owner and have at least an ounce of care or a desire to uphold some semblance of quality or reputation, please consider retraining your staff or cleaning house and starting over with a new batch...
Read moreI don't recommend eating at this Chipotle. This place has rude, apathetic and dismissive employees. The people serving the food clearly didn't want to be there and made it apparent. When it came time for me to pay, the person who was supposed to collect my money was nowhere to be seen and didn't show up for several minutes. That's when I should have left and gone someplace else to eat, but I foolishly stayed and paid.
After paying, it was apparent that low level of professionalism at this restaurant wasn't limited to the customer service. This place appears to be unsanitary. The mechanisms on the soft drink dispensing machines stick. They appear to be coated with soft-drink syrup that prevents them from functioning because they are not clean. This is not the only time I've seen this at this restaurant. Moreover, the table I ate at was filthy with old dried up food stuck to the table for what appeared to be a very long time, so I cleaned it using hand sanitizer and a napkin. This is not the only time I've seen this at this restaurant either.
I don't know why I even ate the food I bought there. I should have thrown it away and gone someplace else because the anxiety that comes with worrying that I may get sick is not worth it, but I don't like wasting money. Next time something like this happens to me at a restaurant I won't view it as wasted money. Since I no longer care to experience anxiety like this, I'm not eating at this Chipotle. That's too bad because I love Chipotle food. I've been eating it since the 90's when the company first started...
Read moreMy family enjoys Chipotle just about once a week, but we avoid this location. Consistently because of poor service and management. The last straw was last week, when I came inside with my daughter on Father's day, with her super excited to order her favorite Cheese Quesadilla. I was informed they were out of the kid's tortilla so they couldn't make this item. I asked if they could just make it with the large tortilla and they said they couldn't (though other locations in the same situation would simply cut a large tortilla in half). So I asked to just order a large adult portion quesadilla. I was informed that was an online order only option. Dumbfounded, I asked why, and was told it was because it took longer? What? Longer than a kid's quesadilla? They said they'd have to get approval to make it. They went off to the drive thru area (where I saw them pick up an opened package of kids tortillas, and set them back down after a brief discussion). The manager came back and explained that they would not be able to make the quesadilla. This was for online orders only. At this point, I was frustrated beyond words so I asked them to just cancel my entire order and walked out of the store. There was no one else in line, by the way.
Of course, I submitted the feedback online and quickly received a boilerplate response defending their policy. "Due to the preparation time required, quesadillas were designed to be digitally exclusive". But you can order a kid's size in-store, no problem. Well, that is if they can actually keep the tortillas in stock. I'm...
