Do you like being treated well when you treat yourself? Then don't go to this location.

First of all, this is no knock on Dewey's ice cream. As a cookies and cream aficionado, I admit that theirs is pretty darn great and I fell in love when I discovered this place when I moved here.

However, the cashier who works here has absolutely run me off.

1. Its ice cream; it should be a happy place. This woman does not seem happy to see or serve customers.
2. I'm paying $5.53 for two scoops of ice cream and I think that's pretty steep. I would like to see the ice cream at least come above the rim of my waffle cone! I mean, why so stingy?? Ridiculous!
3. Dewey's has a rewards program and its electronic! Yay, right? No. Because if you don't ask BEFORE you tender your money then the cashier will look at you with a blank face and say "too late." You couldn't ask first!? Not even a hint of remorse.

For the 2nd year in a row they have screwed up an online order. We order our kids bday cake online. Last year we ordered two cakes. Someone who received the order decided it was a mistake that we ordered two cakes and instead of calling to confirm the order they canceled one. When we called to make sure the cakes were ready they insinuated it was our fault for ordering two cakes and them canceling one. Fast forward to this year she my wife ordered my kids bday cake again online to be ready for pick up on Friday the 13th. When she went to pick it up the lady said they didn't have it scheduled to be picked up until Sunday. My wife she that she has confirmation that it was for Friday and the lady's response was it doesn't matter if she did bc they don't have the cake there and can't get it. She said she could try to go to the other store across town to get cake squares bc they don't even have those there. Instead of trying to fix the situation she just put it on my wife to fix. Visiting this location was a total disappointment. I visited this location on my birthday Sunday Dec 13th around 5pm. I was first disappointed that they did NOT have any cake squares. I specifically went for cake and they did NOT have cake so I settled for the cupcakes instead. As the girl was getting the cupcakes I noticed that she did not have any gloves on when picking them up. It grossed me out because I thought people were supposed to wear gloves while handling food. Isn't that apart of food safety, let alone the pandemic. So then I asked her if it was required for them to wear gloves and she replied "I try to wear them". So trying to not allow it to ruin my mood I was trying to be excited about the cupcakes. The cupcakes were a huge disappointment. They were very dry and the icing on top had a hard coating when you bite them. I got 6 different cupcakes. I ate two, bit the other 4 and threw them away.
