The one of the rudest experiences Iâve ever had. I went through the drive thru and ordered a dozen hot and ready, a mother day mini 16 count and a strawberry sprinkle shake. I had a Groupon gift card which is a Krispy Kreme gift card. I told the worker the numbers for the gift card and he said it didnât work. He called another worker over and told me they didnât take Groupon. Instead of trying to argue I just handed them my card to pay. Then after he rung me up and gave me my receipt he asked what I had ordered bc he forgot. I told him and he gave me my hot and ready dozen. Then a completely different worker came to give me my Motherâs Day minis and said have a good day. I told him I had a shake also and he said ok hold on. He came back and said hey our ice cream machine just broke and weâll refund you. I said ok and the worker who told me that they didnât take Groupon came back and proceeded to tell me I had to pay again. Confused I asked her to explain. She talked really fast and said â Iâm saying you have to pay for the donuts again.â Then she finally explained that they cancelled the entire transaction and refunded my card. So I said âOk well let me check and see if itâs been refunded bc im not paying for them twice.â She got really rude and said â It wonât show up so you have pay again.â I told her I was going to check anyway bc I wasnât paying twice for my order. She got really ugly when I checked my account and said ok itâs showing that it was refunded and so I handed her my card and asked how much it was going to be. She told me, ran my card and sarcastically said âhave a good dayâ as she handed my card back. First time I ever stopped at this location and it will be the last!!! I will tell everyone I know not to go there!!! Only reason there is 2 stars is bc the donuts were the only good thing...
Read moreI went through the takeout window at the Krispy Kreme in Winston. I got coffee with cream, two chocolate cream filled and one cinnamon roll.
The person who took my order was pleasant and did give me my order in a timely manner.
The big problem I had is they filled that cup of coffee so far up it was coming out of the lid when I picked it up, The lid popped off the hot coffee went all over me and of course you can imagine the pain of that hot coffee on my skin.
All three donuts were stale. I do not know how long they had been sitting in there, but they were so tough that you could not eat them and feel good about consuming all that sugar so I wound up scraping off the chocolate that was on top of the chocolate cream filled ones And when I got home, I broke it up a little bitty pieces and took them out to the birds because that was about as good as you could of a use for those donuts except just to throw them away in the trash.
I cannot believe I had to pay $10 for three donuts and One coffee and I couldnât eat the donuts and the coffee went all over me so I didnât get any coffee either.
I will never go back to Krispy Kreme again because that kind of money for no better than those donuts were? Itâs just too much.
I am saddened because Iâve lived here all my life and Iâve looked at Krispy Kreme as an institution, but I have had my attitude adjusted. I will listen to what the universe is saying to me And Iâd be just as well off to go to the grocery store and get a pack a little Debbie devilâs food cakes at least theyâre only $2.79 And theyâre...

The donuts were cold and the glaze tasted like it had been sitting in the display case for a few days. There were no lemon filled, raspberry filled, chocolate custard or strawberry glazed and it was 11:30 am when we went. I ordered a chocolate mocha frozen. The girl made a caramel frozen and handed it to me and my husband. When I said I ordered the chocolate mocha this must be someone elseâs drink- the girl literally rolled her eyes at us and just stared refusing to take it back. My husband is the kindest person alive and with a smile said it again. She asked can you just take it? We are really busy. I replied no thank you I do not like caramel at all- Iâm so sorry. She literally huffed like a teenager, rolled her eyes and walked away offering it to a random customer for free. He took it gladly :). It took her another 20 mins to make my drink. By this time the place had become so packed we just kept getting pushed further and further to the back door trying to stay out of the way of the flow of incoming patrons. The girl started yelling our drink order and we were trying to get her attention by waving our hands. When she made it us she said âitâs a good thing I saw you because I almost threw it awayâ. Iâve seen some glowing reviews for this place and I am Hoping we just caught a bad...
