I have come here a few times but today was different. I was not greeted once i was inside. I was not asked for my name for my order but i watched everyone else get asked these common questions. I was the only person of color. I hate to point that out but i was. I watched as the young man called out the name for orders before me with a smile and told them to “have a good day”. I was called by my order only and he never gave me the smile or good energy he gave everyone else. Instead i had to say to him “thank you have a good day” and had to repeat it twice because i could tell he didn’t want to say anything to me. I’m a normal person just like everyone else and shouldn’t be discriminated because of the color of my skin. Very disappointing when myself, my boss and coworkers support this business but after today im not so sure we will be back. Also didn’t even make my smoothie right at all and that has never happened! There is no trace of strawberry. I’ve never had one look like this. It’s always been made right. Today was hot!! The heat index was around 100. Overheated from shopping in the area, we saw their sign and had to give them a try. It seemed like the perfect way to cool off. At first I thought the prices were a little high but desperately wanting a cold smoothie, I was willing to pay the price. I was pleasantly surprised that my smoothie was served in a 20-24 oz (not sure the exact size) and in a Styrofoam cup! I ordered the strawberry splash and asked if I could add blueberries. They said I could and it was delicious. The only thing I would change is leaving out the banana. I love bananas but they use extremely ripe bananas.
