OMG …the food here was so good and reflective of the name. It was TASTY! I was pleasantly suprised when I found this food truck because I recently visited Montego Bay Jamaica and was craving real Jamaican food which is hard to find in Winston. It was seasoned just right and surprisingly the service was great as well. It’s hard to find good service and good food these days so I’m definitely returning.

I’ve had the oxtail meal a few times. The flavor of the cabbage has really improved since the last time I had it, along with the rice peas. The oxtail were mostly tender but had a strong tomato taste which I wasn’t used to. I wasn’t able to eat my food for a while after I bought it but the way they wrapped my plate made it stay warm until I was able to eat it.

I’m from Charlotte and I’ve been looking for good places to eat in WS. Taste Jamaica food truck! I went to the one on Fairlawn Dr. and Reynolda Rd. (the truck is parked in the Shell gas station parking lot). I had no trouble with parking. The second food truck is located at Cooks Flea Market. I did my research on this food truck. When I arrived, I saw the sanitation score of 100 (rarely see that), cleanness is very important to me. I was greeted with a smile and awesome customer service. I noticed that they used gloves when preparing food too. David and Bianca (owners) matched my energy and excitement about the experience of trying their Jamaican food truck. I ordered the ox tails, cabbage veggie medley, rice and peas. Believe me, it did not disappoint. The meal was fresh, hot, and very tasty. The oxtail were seasoned and meaty. The gravy was delicious and the portion size was generous. The rice and peas hit the spot and the cabbage veggie medley complimented the oxtails. I can’t wait to go back. I’m going to try the jerk chicken dinner and a beef patty. Be sure to call ahead because they run out of food quickly. This will be my new “go to” when I want something very good to eat. Keep up the great work David and Bianca! I can tell you are proud of your business and...

hadn't been to Cooks in a while so I was surprised to see a food truck with Jamaican food. I knew I would visit after shopping. When approaching the truck, we were greeted with the nicest smile and how can i help you; explaining the menu offering the best sold item on menu. It was the best service of that day visiting Cooks Flea Market in Winston Salem. If I decide to visit Cooks again it will only be to visit this food truck. great service will make you come back. 3stars for service alone. Visit yourself to experience the flavor of...

I have been passing this place on my lunch, break for quite some time and swung in the parking lot today. I ordered the beef patty with rice and beans. Everything is very flavorful and My meal was reasonably priced.

They do not offer drinks to go with your meal, but recommended going to the gas station to purchase a drink, which is Not a big deal. Their prices on other items seemed expensive, but those are things that I commonly do not eat so the price point could be where it needs to be.

The staff are...
