I went to this location June 19th, 2018 around lunch time craving breakfast. My spouse and I got there sat down and the lady said you can sit anywhere and I’ll wipe the table down. First of all why aren’t the tables already wiped clean (but anyway). So we sit and she wipes the table and leave it damp instead of wiping it with a dry towel as well. Then, she asks what we would like to drink. I get tea and my spouse get water. He was having tooth problem and water soothes his mouth. She took she sweet time getting the drinks dragging her feet as she walked around. She comes back and say “Y’all know what y’all want”. (mind you we didn’t have any menus to look at). She NEVER handed us any menus to look at. So I say to her “No, we don’t have any menus”. She walks off dragging her feet comes back to our side of the restaurant takes stuff out of a bag lay it on the counter, and then walks back to the other side of the restaurant. We still don’t have any menus and she’s not attempting to bring us any. I could have picked some menus off another table but why should I have to do that. Meanwhile another worker is sitting down near us on her phone. By now I feel like this is about to be some Bull$&@? and terrible service. So I get up and tell my spouse that we’re leaving bc we still hadn’t gotten any menus, I was irritated at hearing her slide her feet as she walked around. I was craving breakfast and I enjoy Waffle House but this experience rubbed me the wrong way. I would ask for the manager but I feel like it would be a waste of time. Actually writing this was too but I feel people should know that this location SUCKS at serving customers. With Waffle House terrible rep lately you would think they would try to do better but I guess not. Can’t expect great service from people who barely make...
Read moreI have been to so many Waffles houses across several states, and for the most part, I have a great experience, but I will say this about this location with confidence, it needs a whole new staff or closed down all together. I walked in, set at the booth. 5 employees walking around l, only 3 tables of customer and no one else. I was greeted, but they continued to talk, look at their cell phones, and ignore me for 16 minutes. The cook herself finally came out, asked if they took my order, and she herself took my order and cooked it. She served it, and I had to walk over and get my own utensils. It was a complete joke from start to end. Poor Jonah seemed to be the new guy, and none of the other employees of about 5-6 were paying him no mind. He was attending the entire restaurant as a waiter, and it looked like it was his second day. There was a manager I believe behind the glass window and other staff in the back as no one was attending to me or the other 2 customers who came in after. One man finally had enough and verbalize to staff. For myself, there is no reason to speak up, this is their job, their industry, and they are horrible at it. I never got a bill, was thinking of just leaving as staff would not clean the dirty tables, most were in the back on their phones and talking and poor Jonah dealing with everything on his own. It was sad to see a new employee fend for himself like that. I know for sure, I shall never return to this location....
Read moreIt’s a Waffle House. Eating there is what you’d expect it to be, but I strongly suggest not to make any online orders.
I’ve made a few online orders here, but I probably won’t anymore.
The wait times are really inaccurate, which is inconvenient as my food is pretty cold once I get there.
There’s also been a lot of times where things are missing from my order, which I don’t realize until I get home. On this order in particular I was missing all of the meat from every all star special.
And for some reason they don’t have a working phone anymore?? I tried to call about my order but all I got was a message directing me to their website. Pretty frustrating as they had no way to state that part of your order is missing. I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant.
I’ve had things like this happen in the past multiple times, but this was definitely the worst experience yet. So yeah, online orders are a no go.
Eating there is definitely the better option. Food is solid, staff are friendly most of the time, and I’ve made a lot of good memories there. But again, it’s a Waffle House so don’t have your expectations TOO high.
Also quick tip: DO NOT GET MUSHROOMS ON ANYTHING. I made the mistake and it tasted...
