I'm giving this 5 Star review with much excitement as it seems we can finally invite Arby's back into our weekly dinner menu! To be fair and honest we had to stop going and have truly missed it as we've always been big on our roast beef sandwiches and I love a good Reuben! But as I've reviewed before, the Bartow store needed many changes and while i understand they're making changes, we just stopped risking it as i don't like to feel my money is being wasted. Before making this review we actually went two nights in a row this week I guess to ensure the greatness we experienced wasn't just a fluke. First night thru the drive up window. A total of 13 sandwiches, fries and drinks that I actually forgot to tack on until actually paying. Jonathan wowwed us as there was a little confusion on our part with remembering the name of one of the sandwiches that needed to be ordered. I gave a slight description to him thru the microphone and instantly he knew what we needed and assisted us in getting it. Although we haven't had great experiences with employees via drive up windows, this was different. He was extremely patient, helpful and even funny at one point so that part was very nice. As we waited for our large order I was on pins and needles wondering what would be forgotten and left out of our bag or cooked incorrectly? NOTHING! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! Jonathan brought our food out and not one item was forgotten. We got home and were in shock as the sandwiches had been made to order (even the ones with special requests), they were all perfectly made and the amount of meat on them actually matched the bun size (like you see in the commercials). Was so good we went back the next night only this time went inside. The place was clean including all tables and even the condiment and drink station. I saw Jonathan and singled him out to place our order with. He actually remembered our specialty requests. I noticed a young lady walking around in the back with the employees. As we were placing our order, she quickly approached and introduced herself as Madison the stores GM. We spoke about my families experiences with her store and I gladly told her we appreciated being able to eat at Arby's again and how great the food was. All and all, Arby's is back on our menu and the employees at "this one", seem to be on there toes. We will definitely be...
Read moreOrdered in store today.. got all the way home and realized I should've definitely checked the bag before leaving because not one single sandwich that i ordered was in the bag except the gyros.. and they tasted like straight pepper and Italian dressing.. no other flavor at all..I've never had one before but I'm most positive that's not how they're supposed to taste.. waited over five minutes and didn't even get what I ordered.. and couldn't even eat what we got because there was so much chedder cheese on one of the sandwiches,, the one that needed to eat is lactose intolerant and so much pepper on the gyros I could only take a couple bites.. so none of us got to eat anything but fries for lunch today..then I told the female at the counter that the ice bin on the soda machine was over flowing onto the floor and she did NOTHING..I have worked in restaurants since I was 16..I have a food safety license.. when water is reported on the floor your very next step is to get a wet floor sign and a mop IMMEDIATELY so a customer doesn't fall and break their neck.. she thanked me for letting her know and continued making food.. COMPLETELY THE WRONG THING TO DO.. THAT LADY EITHER NEEDS TO BE FIRED OR NEEDS MORE TRAINING ASAP OR SHE IS GOING TO BE THE REASON YALL HAVE A LAWSUIT..because that water had been over flowing long before I got there and NOBODY was doing anything about it.. TRUST ME.. SHUT THIS RESTAURANT DOWN AND JUST START OVER.. NEW STAFF NEW MANAGEMENT.. and every time I tried calling the line was busy and just disconnected..I think this was done on purpose so that they can't be bothered..I have never in my life had such a horrible experience like this.. just getting an almost completely different order than...
Read moreArbyâs used to be my go-to for DoorDash, but they've really dropped the ballâor should I say, the sauceâlately. They forgot my precious Horsey sauce the last two times I ordered. The first time, I let it slide, but after reading a bunch of DoorDash reviews, it turns out these guys are basically the sauce-phobic champions.
Now, you might be thinking, "It's just sauce, right?" But let me tell you, itâs not just sauce. Arby's roast beef isnât exactly winning any awards for authenticityâitâs not really what youâd call "real" roast beef. To be honest, without sauce, it's more like a sad, flavorless memory of what roast beef could be.
But when I order that glorious 1/2 pound roast beef sandwich, I expect it to come with at least 3 or 4 packets of that magical Horsey sauce. Itâs the only thing that makes each bite vaguely enjoyable. Does it taste like a gourmet roast beef sandwich? No, of course not. But it's a familiar taste from my past, and that Horsey sauce is what makes it all work. Without it? Well, letâs just say... blah.
EDIT: I wanted to come back and let everyone know that I did post a review at the link provided by the company in response to this review AND Iâm sad to announce that I only got an automated message saying Thank You for your comments and basically to expect some kind of response from the store⌠well⌠the store never replied after all this time. So if you have a complaint you can just ignore the response from the store because they will...
