Divine Caribbean Flavor Restaurant — Restaurant in Winter Haven

This was my first time ordering from here and my last!! I try to support small owned black businesses as well, but honestly this is why I don't half the time. I was still at work when it was delivered and the guy who delivered it left faster then I could check it. I basically got whatever they had left is how I feel. They rather have made my $88 bucks (order was $77 + $11 tip!) rather call me and admirably say sorry but what u ordered we don't have left and refund me my money rather deliver me food I couldn't feed to my dog. That, I would have respected and tried them again at another time. I usually cook but I'm a single parent and got stuck enrolling a student and got off late. So not to be able to eat majority of what they delivered. Not cool, an inconvenience and of course Straight waste of my money!! Everything was obviously sitting for alonnnggg time. Everything was old as you can see. Really wished I had taken pics before my boys found what they could consume and that was suppose to be a large size legim with 3 pieces of beef and bottom of the pot veggies u could no longer tell what was what for $19. I basically paid for rice, Y'all really should be ashamed of yourself! I even gave a tip! Smh, but God is to good and y'all obviously need it that bad!! But you not gone get away with it, that's why I wrote this review! so everybody be ware, you see the pics for yourself, and I have cameras and got u delivering it. English Oh lala lala The business owner is a good person... I drive from Davenport, Haines city and drop by Winter Haven to get pumpkin soup... If you are a true Haitian, you know this pumpkin soup tradition... you must eat it on January 1st to mean something to you... The lady who owns the business welcomed us... We eat bread and drink a delicious pumpkin soup... We drink juice... Fill our bellies before we go home... The food was good, really good... Even if the restaurant is small... But the food, I recommend it to anyone to try to eat there because the owner of the business manages her business well.. She knows what good customer service is... Anyhow, whenever i m near Winter Haven, I'm going to eat there Again for sure...

my go to for Haitian food in town very much a takeout only place but it doesn't pretend to be otherwise. fast, no nonsense service. generous portions and very reasonably priced.

they do a much better job of proportions with the entree to rice ratio and include a good amount of pikliz and side dishes. they do a better griot than other places. it doesn't sound like much but it's only been a step down at every other Haitian restaurant in the area.

if you want Haitian food in town, this is the place. it might be easy to miss because the building is small but it is unmatched in quality, variety,...
