Flama Tropical Food Truck Sandwichera & Comida latinoamericana — Restaurant in Winter Haven

Stopped because I wanted something new that didn’t break the bank. Ordered chicken mofongo and a steak sandwich. So good! I usually prefer cream sauce with my mofongo, this was orange, but still had good flavor. The mofongo was huge and was on a bed of fresh lettuce with four tomato slices. The steak sandwich was pretty good too (I had to eat the thing since I forgot to tell them no onions or tomatoes for my dude). Loved the passion fruit juice. Got it all for $25. Edit: I have revisited various times already and flavor, portions and not being skimpy are very consistent. I've seen a lot of complaints from people about wait time but as i said before the wait is worth it. Also a lot of the items made are cooked to order. I'll wait over fresh food any day.

We had the beef and cheese empanadas, supreme nachos and a flamoso sandwich. I was starting to get upset about the wait but to be honest it was worth it with how delicious the food was. Flamoso sandwich will probably be my go to every time I come here....

Ordered ONE combo of chicken chunks and rice and beans; the wait time was ridiculous 30+ minutes and as I'm writing this I am yet to recieve my food. A car next to me said she put her order in at 7:28pm and it's now 8:18pm and she is JUST NOW getting her food. We asked for a refund and he blamed her order being so big as the reason why the long wait. Not worth it. Go to a real...
