Richard's has a tasty array of gourmet coffees, cappuccinos, lattes, etc. are available to please every patrons palettes! And as if that isn't enough, to compliment the huge assortment of indulgent coffee styles & flavors, they sell a variety of fresh, tasty & delectable danishes, cakes, bagels, muffins, turnovers, sandwiches, etc. Their hot, tasty & mouthwatering Cuban sandwiches, made on Ybor City Cuban Bread are piled w/quality ingredients that'll please the hardest tastebuds!

Oh, & you MUST try the ice cream!! It's homemade, creamy & flavorful! Made by a company named "Working Cow" ice cream! My favorite flavors are the Salted Caramel, Vanilla & Butter Pecan.

My other favorites, at Richard's are the Asiago cheese bagels, the everything bagels (toasted, if you'd like it that way) & the unique, but delightfully sweet & tasty pretzel danish! They have Oreo, as well as Red Velvet muffins! Oh my! Stop by & see Mr. Dave & staff! You WON'T be disappointed..& your tastebuds...

Richard’s is not what it used to be! Few weeks ago one of my close friend had a terrible experience and today it happen to me and the issue was only one specific girl at the front but today both girls up front decided to actually go against me which is very sad. I have gone there for years buying the same coffee and even with the new owners in place and have never been charged extra over “caramel drizzle” and today because I asked why I was being charged more I got an attitude from the girl who I personally think is racist, because I have even observed with my own eyes how she speaks to “ white folks” and than how she speaks to people of color. Very sad because Richard always made his cafe feel welcoming and everyone was so friendly now you can clearly see it’s about the money and they really don’t care if they loose another customer because obviously more customers will come but this place has really gone down heel. One of the girls would and has always made my coffee awesome and already knew who I was when I called for pick up and today she also went against me defending her Coworker, which is very say because she knew what she was doing doing, she knew she would get a reaction out of me and today she got it . My chai was made fairly well but not perfect. It was not sweet enough but that could be the type of chai that this place uses or the barrista not putting enough of the chai mix in my drink. The "foam" on the top that I requested was more like whipped cream and not the smooth thick foam that I am used to making or getting at Starbucks. I could probably teach them how to make it as I make great foam (better than Starbucks)! The presentation of the muffins, biscuits and eateries is very nice. Almost like what you see when you go to conventions. Overall I would say that this coffee shop is worth visiting if you are tired of that same old Starbucks experience and want something new. I find that these small business-owned coffee shops are hit or miss when I order my specific drinks, but Starbucks is always perfect for me. This was a nice change of pace, although my chai was not made perfectly well. 5 stars due to great atmosphere, friendly servers and the drink was not a total disaster and I do like whipped cream.
