This is the third time I have gone to a Cow and Cheese, and the first time I went to the C&C/That Wing Spot collab restaurant. I bought a single burger, a stubborn Cola, and a wing/fries combo.
When you walk in you are greeted by the entire staff. This made me feel welcomed. Additionally, someone personally greeted me and asked me if I needed any help while providing information. The staff was really nice and remained nice even after I asked way too many questions. Even saying goodbye as I was leaving. I felt valued.
The burger was really good. Smashed down real thin it's like eating a Steakum. If you like well-done/crispy patties, it's perfect. Very large burger, very thin patty. The sauce is awesome too. The pricing is flexible and affordable. The burger starts at 5 dollars, that's it, but if you want lettuce/tom/on you need to pay more. I would assume 6.50 with all three. I think this is fair.
The wings are a dollar per wing. I can't imagine it staying that way, and it's because they are new, but if they do, this is the most affordable wing in the city, and they are good wings, good size, good flavor, cooked well. I got Lemon Pepper, and it was maybe an inch over seasoned, but this is just a personal pref, and I prefer over to under anyday . Blue cheese had CHUNKS, not the watery nonsense some wing places try to give you.
The fries are crinkle cut; they are fine, nothing groundbreaking. At 5 bucks for a side, they give less value. I've had the cheese sauce, and I'd recommend it for the fries. Never tried the special seasoning and will have to soon.
Edit: I forgot to mention Stubborn Cola. C&C is the first place I have been to that respect's Stubborn's brand enough to have a well-kept machine. Best non Coke/Pepsi cola I've ever...
Read more✨ Okay, so let me just say this… it is so rare for me to leave a review because I almost never get blown away by a place. But this spot? Total. Hidden. Gem. 🌟 From the second I walked in, I felt such a positive vibe—like everyone working here actually enjoys what they’re doing. The energy is warm, inviting, and honestly contagious.
🍔 Now… THE BURGER. Wow. I don’t even have the words to do it justice. Juicy, flavorful, perfectly balanced—literally everything you want in a burger and more. You know when you take that first bite and immediately think: “Yup, this is my new favorite”? That was me. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the kind of burger that stays on your mind long after you leave.
💡 And here’s the thing: I work in the restaurant industry, so I notice the details. The service here wasn’t just “good,” it was genuinely friendly—like the type of staff that make you feel at home while still keeping everything professional. That’s not easy to pull off, and they did it flawlessly.
❤️ What really stands out is that you can taste and feel that the food is made with love. Every plate has that touch of care, and you can see how well the team works together behind the scenes. To me, that’s the sign of a truly special restaurant—not just great food, but a group of people who are passionate about creating a memorable experience. So here’s my honest take: if you’re looking for a place that combines delicious comfort food, a welcoming atmosphere, and staff that will absolutely brighten your day—this is it. 10/10. Already planning...
Read more1 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE, they would rather serve their own employees food before their customers!
Honestly very disappointed with this establishment. Despite having more than 8 employees constantly present, a relatively empty restaurant about ( 5 people total) we wait over HALF AN HOUR for two burgers and one fry. Between 15-25 minutes after ordering, we watched two employees receive their own meals and sit down and start eating. After receiving a text that our food was finally done, we had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the food to actually be done. We watched multiple people who ordered food after us receive food before us. No apology or any acknowledgment. Such poor customer service!
Inside is fine but dingy. They have no condiments, utensils, or napkins available at all. You have to ask for them. Everything is an up charge. Want any toppings like pickles, onions, or tomatoes? It’ll be at least 50¢. 50¢ up charge for a singular sad unripe white looking slice of tomato. The burgers were fine, little dry.
Complete lack of urgency. Complete lack of customer service.
Disappointing and will not be returning. Debating a fast food drive through or this place? Go get that fast food and I’m sure that customer service will...
