Munchie Shack — Restaurant in Winter Springs

Absolutely no regrets visiting this amazing bodega! Even the name is super catchy. 😉 Kelly provided excellent customer service & played good music while waiting for the order.

We ordered the Munchie Burger, empanadas, & Chicharron with tostones.

The burger was one of the best burgers ever. The seasoning was delicious and the special shack sauce is to die for!

Empanadas were delicious. Right amount of crunch & not greasy.

Chicharron was flavorful. It was chicken instead of pork. After taking my first bite, it brought back memories of eating lechon at my family’s food gatherings. It took me right back at home.

Looking behind the counter, I can see some of the kitchen and it looks absolutely spotless! Super clean.

The icing on the cake was the cook named Eric. Eating his food felt like he put his heart & soul into it! And boy, he can cook!!

I will definitely come back to try more...

Munchie Shack serves up a big, loaded burger! I had the namesake Munchie Burger, and it was great. It had bacon, egg, American cheese, a single patty, diced peppers, lettuce, tomato, and potato sticks on a brioche bun with thousand island dressing. The burger was cooked well, and the bun was toasted nicely. They asked how I wanted the egg, so you can get it cooked through or a little runny (which is what I got) It was very tasty, and a little sloppy, but that's to be expected with a burger like this. I found Munchie Shack on Google and saw the great reviews they have. My friend and I went there after our appointment for lunch. We were greeted by Miss Kelly, who is a very sweet and welcoming. She explained the menu and both my friend and I ordered the chopped cheese with side of fries. It was awesome! Me being from NJ never had chopped cheese, and this sandwich did not disappoint. My friend being from the Bronx, says she never had a chopped cheese sandwich! She loved it. We will definitely come back to try the other food items on the menu 😋.
