Second time here, first time was right after they opened, didn’t like the coffee and service was very impersonal. Thought I’d give it another try, dark roast tasted like coffee you would get out of a machine. Not much depth in flavor with a hint of cardboard. Girl showed no personality, almost seemed like she wasn’t awake yet. A smile would be nice. In reply to He Brews reply. I don’t care how many awards a coffee gets if you don’t handle it properly or brew it properly you can get bad coffee out of it. You must be doing something wrong for it to taste like this. As far at the service, it was the same girl both times so I’m quite sure this is the way she is, if you are serving the public you need to engage with them and make them feel good about spending their hard earned money in your shop. We stopped by for drinks and muffins! We are from NS. Canada! Our son lives nearby and highly recommended this coffee shop! We were not disappointed! We were greeted by friendly and kind people! We even had the door opened for us! We felt so welcomed! The muffins were huge and scrumptious! The iced lavender latte was excellent! My son says it is the best in the Kenosha, Winthrop Harbour area! The Americana was also great! Everything taste so fresh! Most underrated coffee shop in the area. The staff are really nice, prices are reasonable, the atmosphere cozy, and the coffee is excellent! Make this one of your go-to coffee shops!
