My family and I went here yesterday for lunch, and I must say despite the food being good the owner Tim Kaiser was rude, disrespectful, a bully and a total disappointment and made our lunch so uncomfortable we didn't want to finish so we left. Our waitress Pam on the other hand was very sweet, hardworking and very pleasant. We came in at 3 PM on 1-26-19 for my sister's birthday. The restaurant was not busy at all, maybe 2 tables being used. The host/waitress Pam greeted us and we asked if we could sit by the fireplace. There were only 4 of us. Pam explained to us that we could sit there however the tables in front of the fireplace is reserved for some people at 5 PM. We told her we understood and we will be done before 5pm. We sat at the table in front of fireplace, which is very beautiful. Pam took our orders, we get our food, we are enjoying it. Then at 4pm a man later identified as Tim Kaiser enters dining room and he starts yelling at Pam and the other staff, Pointing at us asking why are we sitting at the table. He made us feel unwanted and not important to him and his restuarant. But most of all the way he was yelling and talking to his employees was disrespectful. If he could talk to them in a demeaning way while customers are around I wonder how he speaks to them in private. He was very rude and disrespectful. Pam apologize to us . It was not her place to apologize. We knew we had a time limit when we first sat down. We still had an hour before the people that reserved the seats came, there was no reason for Pam our hardworking waitress who by the way i think was the only one working that day get disrespected and yelled at. We told our waitress that we wanted to speak to Tim Kaiser. She went to let him know. After 15 minutes of waiting for him we were informed that Tim said he doesn't have time to talk to us and he wasn't coming. That is extremely rude. We are paying customers. This is not our first time coming here. But it will be our last. We have been here many times for work functions, parties or simple get togethers but this one incident left a very bad taste in our mouths. I feel sorry for the employees who gets berated for not doing anything wrong especially in front of customers. And to make us as paying customers feel uncomfortable and unwanted, not important to him is so disappointing. He looked right at us while he asked the staff (not in a nice way) why we sitting there. Very very disappointed in the owners behavior towards us and...
Read moreCame here with my family for mother's day in the evening. first time here, we waited for about 5 minutes to be seated when the place was clearly empty. Afterwards we waited about another 5 minutes for our waitress to show up and say hi. She brought us waters and I asked if they had any hot teas available. She said she wasn't sure but didnt bother to go check. I asked her if they had any sweet tea, they only offer Brisk (gross). I stuck with my water and the table ordered 3 beers. She came back about 10 mins later with the beers but brought one of them wrong. She paid no mind when we told her it was wrong. We placed our order finally after about 30 minutes of waiting. We waited about 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Not worth the wait. The lobster ravioli looked microwaved and had no lobster but ALL cheese. The ribs were dry as a bone and baked, not smoked. The cod was flavorless. The chicken sandwhich was tiny as can be. We asked the waitress that 3 orders were missing the coleslaw and a pickle and she said "we're out of that." I asked her, "why didnt you tell us that before?" She replied "people dont like coleslaw and we always throw it away so I didnt think you wanted any." Well we happen to love coleslaw and were very displeased at the rude service here. The only thing these people can get right is charging customers, the waffle fries, and waters. That is all. I do not recommend eating here, go to Roma's down the...
Read moreUpdate your menu to show the true price of what the customer is ordering rather than a stale, much older price than what will show up on the ticket when the customer has to pay.
I have dined at this location three times over the last several months and each and every time I get the same story that there was a blanket price increase of 20% on all prices on the menu and that the person was coming this week to fix the menu yet after three visits over several months this has never happened. Some of the menu items are priced very reasonably but then when you get the bill the menu item can cost you 35% more. As a result of this experience three consecutive times and my server lying to me three consecutive times I will never go here again. September 12, 2022 management or ownership responded to my review indicating that the price increase was due to the current market and economy and price increases. This is not the problem the problem is that they have been for several months giving customers the same song and dance about the pricing and have still not updated their menus. In fact every time I go to this restaurant I order the same thing and two out of the three times the price was higher than the menu and on the third time it was much higher than what’s...
