Olympic II Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Wisconsin Rapids

One of my family's favorite places to eat in Wisconsin Rapids! Their chicken dumpling soup is the best I've ever had.

We have always had fantastic experiences here, however tonight, we had an especially great experience. Our server, Daria, was so kind and very attentive to our needs, and at one point, we realized we didn't quite have enough to cover our meal. Instead of being rude, she offered to cover our meal and explained that she likes to give back because she really enjoys her customers. Of course, we called a friend and figured out a way to pay.

However, Daria's hospitality definitely didn't go unnoticed. What a fantastic display of kindness! I would 110% recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area- the staff is so friendly and this is definitely a restaurant that I will make a point to return to frequently. I cannot say enough kind words about the Olympic II or Daria and the other stuff there. Definitely restored my faith in humanity tonight and we are so thankful for...

Stopped in while driving through Wisconsin Rapids. Saw the positive reviews online, so decided to check it out. It was Friday, so fish was the daily special. I tried the 3-piece along with real mashed potatoes, coleslaw and small serving of bread pudding. Staff was super friendly and spend significant time talking to the Hispanic gentleman at the front counter about local sites to see. Opened the meal with a cup of clam chowder and was very tasty. Fish was broiled or fried- I had the fried and cooked very well, mashed potatoes had homemade gravy which was delicious. I was completely stuffed after this meal but was able to squeeze in some bread pudding which I liked because it wasn’t overloaded with sugar. If you want the best fish fry in town, you absolutely want to avoid this place. You would get better flavor and texture from a boat trailer tire. The 3 piece cod comes with soup, (got chicken dumpling and they might as well have called it dumpling and vegetable because there was barely any chicken) coleslaw, and a choice of potato. The 2 piece comes with just fries I guess because we were never asked. The kids chicken strips have a funny flavor almost like they are going for Cajun or southern and dredged with corn meal which was weird, and the kids burger was nothing to write home about.
