Pasquale's Italian Cuisine & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Wisconsin Rapids

Where to start…slow service, the restaurant appears to be run by Mom (at the bar, handling orders, running bills, bussing tables) and her son. The salad with my entrée had croutons which were the size of stuffing mix, one tomato wedge. Soup was watery, not sure what it was because the waiter (age 13?) didn’t mention it and had to be reminded of the order. We ordered the calamari appetizer; very bland, the marinara sauce was watery and didn't have much flavor. Mostaciolli was undercooked, same dull, watery sauce as the appetizer. The garlic bread was the highlight. Our waiter/kid was seen eating in the dining room (he’s the only waiter), corrects customers English and pokes at you when you don’t finish the lackluster meal. The pasta dishes were overpriced; $18.50 for a dish of Mostaciolli with 3 meatballs. If you like Italian, I suggest making the trek to Grazi's in Stevens Point. It's worth the drive--trust me. Frankly, I’ve had better sauce made commercially in a jar. The décor has not been updated in decades. Terrible service! Disgusting pizza....two people at our table ordered gluten free pizza and both pizzas were served with burned, black crusts! We waited for over an hour for our food and there were only a few people in the place. We had to ask to have our drinks refilled and waitress never checked with us to see if we needed anything else. One person ordered mozzarella sticks and she received five sticks for $9.50 which were nothing more than frozen out of a bag or box. When the two people asked to talk to the manager about the burned and dried out gluten free pizzas, he stood there and sarcastically said, so what do you want me to do about it? He then came up with the excuse that gluten free pizza has to bake longer! He told my friend that he would take off $5 a pizza and then they only got $2 each taken off the bills. The one person could not even eat 1/4 of her pizza! We will never eat...

This has got to be the worst place for service and food that I've ever gone to. This place wasn't busy by a long shot and it took 30 minutes for us to get our appetizers not to mention that they brought our main dishes out not even 5 minutes after serving us our appetizers. I don't know what staff were doing but there were customers getting up and serving drinks and food...seriously?!?! It took 20 minutes before they even brought out the side salad!!! My food was so horrible I couldn't eat it...the pasta was so over cooked that it completely fell apart as soon as you put your fork in it...the sauce was like water downed spaghetti sauce...there was no flavor to this at all...I didn't even take it home cause I wouldn't even feed it to a dog it's that terrible.
