New China Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Wise

I normally never review restaurants and I especially never give bad reviews but my husband and I literally just had our worst restaurant experience while trying out China Garden for the first time. Today is Sunday so they have their lunch buffet which my husband and I thought would be a good opportunity to try the restaurant. Anyway, all of the food was super greasy, bland, and some of the food (especially the fried shrimp) was freezer burnt, I found a hair in my spring roll, my husband had to track down our waitress to place our drink order and to get our silverware because she never came to our table (the restaurant wasn't even busy), the cashier we paid didn't say a single word to us and was texting on her phone, and to beat it all, our food somehow cost $29 even though the buffet was $9 each which doesn't add up. I used to love China Garden. I typically ate there about once a week because the lunch specials were so good. Honestly I've never liked the service, it's always been bad, but the food was always so good. I can't really say how the service is now because I've only gone inside once and used Door Dash the other time, but since getting new owners this restaurant has really gone downhill. The prices have skyrocketed, the food isn't nearly as good, and you get less food than you used to. I wanted some honey beef from their dinner menu, but noticed it's $23. That's insane! I've been to much nicer Chinese restaurants with a lot lower prices. I know that prices have to change over time and I have no problem with that, but $23? I just can't justify that. I had ordered from here and went on my lunch break to get it. When I got back to the office it was the wrong order. I called and talked to the lady and she apologized, she said to come back in and they would take care of it. I advised i was on lunch and could not make it back. She said she would write my name down and give me a credit. I called a few days later and advised when I called that I had a credit from before, the man said ok. When I went to get the food an older Chinese lady came out yelling stating they do not do credits. I told her what happened and the girls name I talked to she said that she was there all day and nothing was wrong and they do not mess up. She told me the girl did not have the authority to give a credit and she would not approve it, because again she was there and they do not mess up! I think Asian Cafe has better service BY FAR!!!!!
