My first experience with Grand Furnishings : before 2004 I got a yellow card at the post office for package pick up . It was a sales brochure from them , with post due . OH YEAH !! So later on I forgave and forgot and went and bought a bed room set and some lamps paid cash , no credit . The handles fell off the dresser and chest so I decided I won't buy anything else from them . I have never had credit with them , much less a credit card !! Last March 2020 another person in my town with same name bought some furniture from them . They charged it me ! Let them haul off the furniture requiring no ID or anything in my name !! With Covid 19 the store is closed at this time and finally the lady who bought the furniture's husband called . He promised to call the company and straighten out this mess ! I thought since I called the bank and had it out with Grand that it was over. " NOT " I have been getting sales papers from them after I ask them to remove me from their mailing list . This morning June 15 2020 I got an Insurance policy for the other Sarah's furniture . I sent her word and that is all I going to do !! IF I GET CHARGED AGAIN FOR SOMETHING SOMEONE ELSE BOUGHT AT GRAND'S THEY ARE GOING TO COURT !! Most incompetent Company I ever...
Read moreWe walked into store around 4:30 with intent of making a purchase. No one in sight in the front of the store. Appeared to be a salesperson standing in back of the store where a customer was completing a transaction at the desk. We walked back to the furniture we were interested in which was in full view of the desk in back. Stood around for about 10 minutes. Then walked up to front of store, back through mattress section, by the desk and people working there, and then back to love seat we were looking at. Sat down and waited another 10 minutes. Finally called the store and call was answered promptly. Asked to speak to a specific salesperson we had spoken to on a previous occassion. She took call promptly and I told her we had been waiting in store 20 minutes and had not been approached or acknowledged. She said she was in manager's office and would be right out. She handled our transition efficiently. Satisfied with her service, but not with the whole experience. Read moreI was in search for a new recliner and had went to another furniture store in the area, because I had honestly forgotten about Grand. My experience there was pleasant and the sales rep was very helpful and showed me what I was looking for and it was on clearance. They do have a protection plan for four years at $169 I believe, but the down side was no deliveries on clearance items unless.. you pay a delivery fee of well over $100. So when it came right down to it, it was going to cost well over $1,000. That's when I decided to go to Grands and I am so glad that I did. Not only did a wonderful sales rep come to my aide,but he didn't pressure me into anything that I WASN'T looking for. Their protection plan was way more reasonable and 5 years instead of 4! I did opt for a fee for the delivery driver to bring the chair into my home instead of just a drop off but with the wonderful experience that I had it was well worth it and I will most definitely be referring them to others!
