My grandparents purchased a double recliner but later realized that there would not be enough walking room in their living room with the recliners extended. They had to change their order to accommodate the space in their living room. Before ordering they were not made aware that there would be a 25% restocking fee if any changes were made. Their furniture was heavily priced so the restocking fee was pretty substantial. I feel like they were taken advantage of as elderly customers and care was not taken during the sale. If the proper care had been taken then the restocking fee would have been fully disclosed before the purchase was made. Their lack understanding and unwillingness to waive the fee since they did not make them aware in the first place is absolutely terrible business practice. My husband and I talked about the item that we came in the store to look at and discovered neither one of us was interested in it. Ms. Kennedy offered to show us other items throughout the store. Another couch caught our attention. Ms. Kennedy was completely focused on our questions and answered with great knowledge. Once we decided to make the purchase, Ms. Kennedy walked us through the process with great ease. Brittany Kennedy displayed extreme knowledge of the Ashley furniture. Read moreExperience was great. Sales lady needs more training on products. Was VERY specific on questions asked and she answered incorrectly. After sales lady told me everything was in stock, come to find out from delivery company it wasn't. Waiting almost 1 month for delivery, then I had to make another 1 hour trip to Wise to purchase item missing (did get a discount), 1 hour drive home, then had to finish the setup myself....after paying $99 for delivery AND setup. Not delivery guys fault, that company was GREAT! Friendly, courteous, answered all my questions. They was the ones to tell me I was missing the foundation. No one at Ashley's noticed I was purchasing a purple mattress but NOT the foundation. Sales lady told me the foundation was included with the mattress purchase....guess not.
