When I arrived to pick up my food, a sign on the front door read “This is a mask free zone. Masks Are Not Required Here. NO Mask? NO Problem! No se required máscaras.” I wished I had known before I came. It seemed an overall cheery place, attempting to accommodate aging patrons by not “inconveniencing” them with requiring masks during rising delta variant cases. You can not require masks and not declare a “mask free zone” as though there is something wrong with safety during a pandemic. The sign is irresponsible and I hope the owner recognizes that it doesn’t serve anyone’s interests. I won’t be doing take-out from here again. This type of cavalier attitude is what’s hurting everyone right now. I’m glad some of the waiters protected themselves. I saw some older patrons wheezing and clearing their throats as I left. The breakfast of cheese omelet, hash brown and toast was basic and not at all special or flavorful, although it was inexpensive. I love that it’s just down the street, but not so much that they aren’t respecting safety guidelines regardless of whether they enforce them. Seems ridiculous.

I cannot say enough about how amazing this eating establishment is! It’s cafeteria style breakfast/lunch! When you first come in to order your food you are given a warm welcoming from the owner, Peter himself which is only one of the many things that makes this restaurant incredible. The staff is very accommodating and professional and will always make sure you have an enjoyable experience! Every item that I have ordered off their vast menu has been prepared perfectly and quickly. All time favorite breakfast place!

This place is an experience more than a restaurant and I would recommend that anybody thinking about trying it do so at least once. All food is made to order, you get in line and just order whatever you like and they cook it right then and there. Food is ordered and picked up old school cafeteria style. The food was decent but I was not super impressed with it. Got the Irish Benny. Corned beef was ok but the Hollandaise wasn't the best. Food didn't have much seasoning. Still had a good experience overall.

Excellent casual dining! The atmosphere reminded me of a jazz jook joint, the food is fundamentally based on Greek cuisine however you can order blueberry pancakes to meatloaf and all American breakfast and lunch options in between. The menu is extensive and then there is also the specials and a sub category called early bird specials so finding something to eat that your in the mood for should not be an issue although we all know the psych effect called paradox of choice all the options available and yet you still can't find anything to choose. You order directly with the cooks/chefs and wait in a line similar to a cafeteria style and pay at the end with drink and dessert options as a last point of purchase. The food quality and presentation are excellent for the dine in casual restaurant that it is. Once you are paid up and head out to the dining area to pick from tables both high and low tops or even sit at the full service bar. Once your meal is finished you leave behind your plates and tray for the busser to clean up afterwards. Now here comes the question of ethics do you leave a tip or not? There was no service performed in the traditional sense of being waited on although if your entree takes a little extra to prepare they will run it out to you at your table via a numbered table tent and then as mentioned earlier there is a person to clean up after your finished which in both situations you will have limited interaction. I left a tip NO NOT the standard 20% but seeing it is a individual ethics scenario I felt leaning towards do the right thing since someone is indirectly helping then the latter of no tip at all but really that is up to each of you to decide what is deemed tippable service or not. All that stated I will gladly tell friends and family about what great experience we had and would highly suggest to try it out and I would also like to add that we will obviously be going back, especially for the early bird special from 14:00-17:00 and cost $7.99 w/ main entree 2 sides and...

Not sure if I can rate this High School cafeteria much higher than one Star. The attitude I was presented with was not that of happy people I read so much about in the reviews here. It was in reality bitter and unhappiness, that I was presented with. I get that everyone has bad days. Even a bad week. But I ordered and had to re-order two more times for them to get the entire order. 4 items. Not sure how a short order restaurant operates if you have to repeat your order a few times, but then I had to repeat the order to the person at the register to cash out, are there no printers or computer systems functioning here, sure looked like there was. Can we talk about the lack sof food safety here? The guy refused to let gloves on or was his hands, said he wasn't touch the food, bone dry, I assume that's why they pushed the gravey so heavy, sides were cold and I refused to eat them. So when I walked up to the counter to ask if I could get hot food from their hotline, the guy behind the line just walked into the back away from me, and somehow the register was unattended all of a sudden? Cool. I left.

Fast forward about a month. I go by for breakfast with my companion, the line was making remarks in another language, and whistled at and addressed my friend as hunny repeatedly to the point where she was steaming mad and couldn't decide on what to order, as about a minute goes by, "You need me to read it to you Hunny" the guy on the line remarks. She was immediately adamant that we go elsewhere. Not sure if I'll ever be able to justify coming here again. No welcoming home style feeling when I came here that I expected.

Bickfords, while not cafeteria style is a great option for what you may be able to get here, minus the poor attitudes and...

I got breakfast from the restaurant a couple of days ago. It was my first time eating here, I’ve heard a lot about this place but never thought to go. Let me start off by saying that the staff is very friendly. When I grabbed my tray and got in line and placed my order, everything went very smoothly, then when I got to the end, I paid the cashier. Then took my food and was hoping for a booth, but none were available and the ones that were all still had dirty trays and food on them. That was mildly offputting. I found myself a table and the second I went to eat my omelette, I realized that it was literally uncooked on the inside. In my 41 years of living, I have never once got an undercooked omelette and probably at this point I’ve easily had over 200. When I went to brought my plate back up a girl grabbed it and I watched her put it in the microwave. I don’t at all believe this was her fault. She wasn’t one of the cooks, and then a woman immediately told her no, and then took my plate of food and said that she would bring it back to my table when it was ready. When she brought the food back to me, it still wasn’t completely cooked, but I was able to eat the end and edges. At that point, I should’ve just said something else, but I didn’t want to make more of a stink about it. But if you can’t even make an omelette right that says a lot right there, the home fries were actually decent, but based on my omelette being undercooked, I would never go again, especially since it’s pricey and you can get...
