Giovanni's Restaurant — Restaurant in Woburn

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. I'll begin by saying that the staff was extremely nice on the phone and when I picked up the order, but that is literally all I can say that is nice about their food.

We ordered 5 items: 2 separate pizzas, a tuna sandwich with onions, a veal cutlet sandwich, and a lobster roll. The two pizzas were flavorless and rubbery, but they were probably the best of the food. My wife's lobster roll looked like canned crab instead of lobster, smelled bad, and had a person's hair in her sandwich. Also, the onion rings that accompanied it were burnt.

My mother's tuna sandwich had large slices of onion instead of cut up onion, and she also found a long hair in her sandwich (her hair is short, so I know it wasn't hers).

My veal had almost no sauce and no cheese (despite them asking if they would like sauce and cheese on it).

I'm willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt on one hair, but two separate sandwiches with hair in them is a deal breaker. We don't live around here, so it isn't likely we would have eaten here again anyway, but after eating there tonight, I can't recommend anyone else eat...

Ok then you have pretty much already been to Giovanni's. Pretty much roast beef and pizza as their name indicates although they do have quite a few other menu options. This place seems to have a mediterranean twitst. They sell what most consider Greek style pizza although I have stuck with the Roast Beef when I have went, which was good enough for my taste. BBQ, cheese, and a little mayo on a bun.

The parking lot is just as awkward as the architecture of the building. The inside is just plain sad and in need of a major refresh. The food is fine though. The staff is much better some of the creepy folk I have seen down the street at...

I wanted to give these guys another chance, because they have great house dressing.. but their dressing if not worth being taken advantage of and not compensated after multiple times of being treated poorly and inconvenienced. Between the time that the owner and the older women argued with me about ordering 2 salads, which they made me pay for when I only ordered one— and today when they gave me the wrong order, overcharged me and then tried to give me the old salad that was returned by the other wronged customer, I think that they earned negative stars. Management is greedy and cheap and their customer service is poor. I will not...
