What a saga! Our waitress was overwhelmed by the number of people there and often did not wear a mask. We asked to split the bill between 2 people, but for some reason she only charged each person 25% of the total bill. When I saw their mistake later in the evening, I voluntarily called to pay the remaining half, what I thought was the right things to do. To my surprise, the owner accused us of walking out on our bill and refusing to finish our transaction at the restaurant. This lie, apparently provided by the waitress to avoid taking responsibility for her mistake, doesn't make any sense since both members of our party had the transaction go through on their cards, including the tip they provided. The owner then proceeded to try to make a point by adding a 20% gratuity without my permission, which is of course fraud. He eventually agreed to return the money, finally righting their wrong, or so I thought. Instead, he then went on to make completely false claims about us on a negative review someone in our party left, even after it became clear the mistake had been made my our waitress rather than us. Obviously not going here again, and It is a shame because the "If I had a Nickel" beer...

I went here tonight with my sister and a couple of friends. It was absolutely the worst meal I have eaten (or tried to eat) in years. You only have a choice of 5 or 6 meals. Very limited menu. The burger was so undercooked it was bright red. I am still nauseous from eating the part I thought was ok - it wasn't. The chips were supposed to be salt and vinegar but they were waffle chips with no flavor. My friends actually got the correct chips. Then the waitress had the nerve to argue that they were the same. One had holes in a grid pattern the others were rippled and you could taste the vinegar on them. My sister got the venison chili. It was cold and the corn bread must have been microwaved a few times because it was stale and dry crunchy. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. I am still sick to my...

Went their for first time today. Liked the layout and good service. Food was excellent and great portions. Owner took the time to chat and give us recommendations. Food is locally sourced and sauces are made not bought. Place was spotless and squared away with plenty of parking.

Can't really speak on beers or cocktails as I'm not a drinker. They do offer samples of beer so one can make an informed choice.

Got there early enough to not have some rude tourist or drunks disturb my meal which my knuckles thanked me for. For paranoid folks, there is a great spot by the door with no windows and one can watch everyone with good escape routes.😉🙂

All fooling aside, great food and I plan to go back soon as I always support Veteran...

First time going here and the reviews are all positive so we expected no issues. The staff was very friendly and were the best part of the experience. The floors were sticky throughout the restaurant and in the bathroom. I got the OG Kimchi and smoked brisket tacos which I couldn't eat. The brisket was so dry and hard. They ended up comping my meal (again great service). We had to ask because I ended up only having the sides for my meal. My husband had a chicken sandwich and said it was fine but not very flavorful. Our 5 year old got a grilled cheese off the kids menu and it was made with a burger bun... Drinks were decent and the service was good, but I wouldn't go back.

In Wolfboro for a couple nights and stumbled across this place. Awesome atmosphere -chill, fun, welcoming staff. But, the big show was the food.- buffalo chicken dip good. Carolina pulled pork - damn good. You can tell it's house smoked to perfection. Great venison burger and buffalo blue burger made with their smoked meat grind. Show stopper: the chicken sandwich. Best ever. Beers were great. Our server, Liz was friendly, helpful, fun and professional. Cheers to Oliver the chef who came by to check on us. You're crushing it brother. Keep up the great work. We'll be back any time we find ourselves anywhere in NH.

Friendly staff and tasty margarita! But we waited one hour for $13 chips topped with cheese and sour cream. Had to ask for the toppings (tomato and lettuce) that seemed to be forgotten. I did not try the beers so I can’t speak to those, but I wouldn’t come here again for the food. Also, after reading the responses from the owner I wouldn’t come here again period. Working in the restaurant industry, I understand it’s been a difficult year. But the responses from the owner of this restaurant shines a negative light on the whole establishment. A shame because it seems like a cool spot!
