Cate Park is located in downtown Wolfeboro across from the post office. The park is well maintained and is a great place to sit on the many benches to enjoy the views of Lake Winnipesaukee and all the activity that occurs at the Town Docks. The Park is very close to all restaurants and shops. The gazebo is a nice spot to take pictures of the lake and on some summer nights musical concerts are presented. Many flowers and shrubs are in bloom throughout most of the year. “Sharing”’ is the bronze sculpture of a grandfather seated on a park bench enjoying an ice cream moment with his grandson. Many visitors sit on this bench eating ice cream purchased from the several ice cream shops that are only minutes away. Public Bathrooms are behind the train station just a quick walk...

We live 30 min away from Wolfeboro and visit Cate Park many times during the year. The Park is tiered down a hill ending at the Wolfeboro Public Docks. There are plenty of benches to relax and enjoy the views of Lake Winnipesaukee. In Springtime, there are many flowers and shrubs in bloom among the well manicured grounds. Summertime brings out many boats. You can bring chairs and a blanket dnd picnic in the shade. On Saturday nights in Summer, there are concerts at the bandstand. Fall has many of the Maple trees in full color. In Winter the Lake freezes over. On a warm day you can sit in the sun and enjoy the peace and quiet. The Park is close to all restaurants in very...

This is such an lovely park! It is right on the edge of the water, right where people can put in their boats. Very often in the summer there are musical concerts that are free. Lovely mature trees and plantings. Would be a great place for picnic or to meet people. And there is ice cream right on the other side of the parking lot! The bandstand is on the main level of the park and is handicap accessible. There is a large upper level, and beyond that a small third level. You can choose how close you want to be to the...
