Buffalo's — Restaurant in Wood-Ridge

I've passed by Buffalo's Chicken Shack numerous times and finally tried it one Friday afternoon for takeout, when hubby said he was craving some BBQ. We ordered the half chicken and full slab combo. It comes with a piece of cornbread and two sides. For the sides, we went with the mac and cheese and the corn. The chicken was very smoky (not my cup of tea) and dry (also not my cup of tea). The ribs were okay but I wish all the extra sauce was on the side for dipping instead of having the ribs drenched. The mac and cheese wasn't bad. The corn was almost inedible. They were just overboiled frozen corn kernels with a ton of artificial-tasting butter. We also ordered the 12-piece wings, which allows you to choose two sauces. We got the lemon pepper and spicy garlic parmesan. The sauces were pretty good but the wings were SO oily. I knew it wasn't a healthy meal but we felt gross after the meal.

We were always intrigued by the sign outside that advertised 50 cent wings on Wednesdays. (which by the way, they still have the sign outside but when you go inside, there's another sign that says they are pausing wing night for the time being. Kind of shady). But now that we've tried the food, we don't think we'll be back for Wing Wednesday. Or...

Just finished eating this amazing food! We got there and unfortunately they had not seen our order that had been placed online. She was apologetic and said she would have it made within 15 minutes. I gotta tell you, I’m a difficult person to impress. I was not willing to try this place, as I have a favorite spot for my wings, but my girlfriend insisted we try it based on other reviews. Wow. Thank god for that. We had wings with rooster sauce, spicy garlic parm and regular garlic parm, all fantastic. The real hit for me was the disco fries with the cheese and gravy… I’ve never had a gravy like that before in my life. Looked deceiving but had the most delicious flavor with the slightest tang of spiciness, I would go back just for that. The wings are humongous, we could only eat 4 each without bursting in our seats.

Will 100% be back, your the new wing stop. Thank you for the service, for the delicious food, though I am concerned on how much money I’m about to spend in your establishment...

I waited there for about 30 to 35 minutes *IN THE STORE for my order to be complete. I also paid before they gave me my order. Once I had arrived home and opened to see my order it was something completely different then what I ordered. I don’t understand the same girl that took my order bag the order up for me and handed it to me. I called and spoke to the same girl letting her know I did not get what I ordered she was not understanding me so some else came on the phone listened to what I had to say and got it. I heard them in the back round saying that they gave my order to the person that picked up there order before me. Now I was pissed!! They said to come back and they will redo my order now I have to wait another 30 to 35 mins I was not happy. I visited this place because I heard it was rated in my area to be a good chicken spot. Sorry but my opinion it’s over rated I’ve had better they can’t even give me what I ordered. Will not be going back and...
