Wendy's — Restaurant in Wood River

Went to pick up a door dash. I got there pulled into a parking spot and as soon as I did 3 workers walked just outside the door. Literally close enough they could touch the door and lit up cigarettes. In the state of Illinois legally they have to be 15 FEET from the door. I am a non smoker and I didn't want to walk past 3 smokers. Then I just went thru the drive thru. Told them I would have came in but they had 3 workers blocking the door smoking. They said oh yeah thats where we smoke and they would have move when you walked up. I said legally they are supposed to be 15 feet from the door thats the law. I was not rude had not attitude and simply stated the truth. So as I drove off with my order the girl in the window yelled maybe try to be nicer. Around 5:30pm on a Monday, I came in for dinner. There were only a few other customers in the restaurant and everyone already had their orders, no one was in front of me or behind me. I took about a minute and a half to decide what I wanted, but it took the cashier 3 minutes to get my order placed. My receipt says order placed at 5:37. I got my drink and sat down to wait for my order to be ready. At 5:48 I go up to the counter to see if my order is ready yet. It's not, they havent even started it yet. So by the time it was done it's now 5:55pm. It should not take almost 20minutes to get a meal at a fast food restaurant. The staff didn't seem to care at all that they forgot about an order. Tried Wendy's breakfast for the first time today. Got the maple bacon chicken croissant combo. The potatoes were decent. The croissant is more like a bun. Didn't seem to be warmed up, but just pulled out of a bag. Overall the food was decent. I did a mobile order which is cool because they usually have good offers on the app. The girl at the window was rude. Didn't greet me or anything, just started to give me my total, remembered it was a mobile order and already paid for and then pretty much shoved my food at me and handed me my drink.
