First we had an all meat burrito that came with shredded meat. For the price it was decent. Next time we ordered 3 enchiladas and decided to dine in. Food was brought, everything was stacked on top of each other so we got almost no lettuce since it was on top of the rice and the plate was not hot so the food got cold fast. It's almost impossible to tell the difference between the pork and the chicken by look and by taste. For some reason none of the meat was shredded and I was never asked if I wanted it that way. The chips were not brought out at the same time so I assumed they were warming in the back. We went back to check and found the woman who said she was getting chips already doing something else. We got our chips. They were cold, costed $1.75 and very few chips, most of which were broken. I don't know why we couldn't get them with our meal... also why were we asked for a tip for service before we were served, then received sub par service. Very rude to ask for more money because you took my money. (I'm not going to tip the gas station attendant for selling me a soda either. Where does it end?) While eating our bland, sub standard food a lady started sweeping next to our table. Gross. I was going to say something but she was already done... Then she came back. I was pretty surprised. The floor looked clean anyway. Then she didn't do the rest of the dining room, probably because people were in there. Just robots making crappy food....

Wow has this shop been incredible. I moved back to troutdale in late 2018 and this place has been a top contender for my business when I’m hungry. Large portions, great flavor, awesome variety of classic Mexican style entrees, and to top it off, their prices can’t be beat. They even have an American food section on their menu to which I can defend is very good as well, (although I am frequently questioned by friends and family as to why I would get a burger and fries at a burrito place...lol).

There is a reason I won’t quite give 5 stars: On two occasions I have received the wrong/incorrect order. Once I ordered a chili burger and it didn’t come with chili but the receipt indicated the add-on, and another time I got a ground beef burrito instead of a shredded beef. Was I surprised? Yes. Was I ultimately upset? No. Still very good food, and I try not to be a negative [insert your ‘favorite’ persons name here]. I have returned many times since and will continue. I noticed pricing is slowly creeping up but nowhere near enough to matter.

Ultimately, awesome place to eat with a hole in the wall feel but these folks could feed an army. Orders come out quick and it is a hotspot for lots of local workers.

I came here for lunch take-out because my wife loves their taco salad. They were busy I was 5th in line. They were working efficiently to take care of the customers and get their orders. My wait to get to the counter was about 7 minutes. The writing on the menu board was a little small but I could see it once I got to the counter to place my order.

I ordered a taco salad and a shredded beef burrito, both about $7 each. While you're waiting they have a condiment bar there so you can get Salas, utensils and other ingredients while you're waiting including radishes and pickled vegetables.

It took about 10 minutes for them to get lunch put together and call my name maybe less.

The food was delicious. In the burrito there was a good combination of rice and flavourful shredded beef. The taco salad had shredded beef in it also., the way I had ordered it.

The Salas was flavourful but not too hot. They had hot options but I chose the milder options of the green and the red Salas.

This is one of our go to places for Mexican food.
