TERIYAKI GUYS — Restaurant in Wood Village

The food here is incredible! Employees are VERY nice, well mannered and make sure you're taken care of. Having to live with OCD makes things difficult. However, when I inspected the tables they were extremely clean. You can tell they didn't just take a used rag, dip it in some bleach water and call it good. They were legitimately clean, as well as the restaurant itself.

Back to the food, it's all fresh made right in front of you. When we got there they had just finished steaming the rice. I LOVE how you can choose how you want your vegetables: instead of just making them way too steamed as most other places do, they actually ask if you want them completely fresh, somewhat steamed or steamed. If you're a fan of fresh, crunchy broccoli and if your meal doesn't come with it, they have absolutely no problem adding the broccoli to your specific meal at no extra charge. Soft drinks are all $1.00. The price for most of what you choose from the menu is below $20 for two people; so even with a generous tip, you still don't pay that much. One thing I forgot to mention is that you have the option to ask them to cut the chicken teriyaki into even smaller pieces, which actually makes it much easier to eat and not have to be afraid of getting dirty, or the food all over the place.

Great food great service the person at the register is the most helpful and wants to help to make your dining experience the best possible. I got the breaded teriyaki chicken, because she recommended it(the chicken was soft and not at all hard in my parent's words I'm not that good at reviews). My mom got the sweet and sour chicken and I tasted it, the chicken was delicious and didn't at all taste like just breading or overly greasy. My dad's plate was the chicken teriyaki and it was my personal favorite, it is sweeter than chicken teriyaki than other places, being sweeter than regular teriyaki chicken isn't necessarily bad it was better because of it. I really dont have great taste bud because I like to drown my food with lots of spicy sauces. My parents really judged the food before I drowned my food in sauces like sweet chili, more teriyaki sauce and sriracha and it was delicious. Lowkey been ordering from uber eats and never came by so I wanted to visit the store and while it was beautiful inside the service wasn’t very good. The food was old tasting and felt cold after 2 minutes of it sitting I couldn’t finish it. Asked to possibly have it remade and the lady argued with me so I politely asked for a box and as I was putting the cold teriyaki in the box to let my dog have, she asked me if I wanted a new plate and so I sat and patiently waited and she gave me a new plate after arguing saying everything is “ fresh. “ I drove 15 minutes home with a to go bag and ofcorse the food was piping hot even after I got home. So they made me horrible food in store when I was trying to have a nice time out to eat for lunch on my day off, and instead I just had to go home.
