I honestly don’t know where to start. Rosa is the manager and is never available to speak on the phone. Anna is the young lady that answers the calls and takes the orders - extremely rude and have absolutely ZERO customer service skills.
I placed an order for a Blackened Salmon platter which comes with rice and beans with a side of grilled veggies. I received the platter with rice, no beans, and veggies in a tomato sauce that looks like they just opened a can of mixed veggie tomato soup. I called and explained to Anna that the order does not reflect what is shown on the menu and her response was “the order isn’t wrong, that’s how WE make it”. She said they didn’t have any grilled veggies so the put mixed veggies. I explained the person who the platter was for is allergies to tomatoes and cannot eat the food. Anna said “we’ll we were not told she was allergic”. WHY WOULD I HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMEONE IS ALLERGIC TO SOMETHING THAT WASNT EVEN SUPPOSE TO BE ON THE PLATTER?! Anna goes “ok hun I’ll send you grilled vegetables. I said, you just told me you don’t have grilled veggies, and the tomato sauce is all over the entire platter. Anna got rude and insisted she was busy and can’t deal with me so she will send me grilled mixed veggies and hung up on me. Absolutely disgusting attitude. A few months back I ordered Bistec a la Mexicana platter, something I ordered frequently, and received something entirely different - less portion, thin, dried steak slices not like the small tender bite sized pieces it usually comes with, and the beans was a smaller portion on top the rice. I called and Anna insisted that’s what the dish is. The same dish I ordered for months. The service is poor. The food is a 6/10 for some dishes, others like the shrimp quesadilla is a 10/10. Terrible service. Will never order here again.
I requested a refund for the meal with the veggies and Anna said she will process the refund, but I will see if I ever get my money back. This is something that has occurred multiple times with myself and my colleagues, so clearly there is a pattern. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, showcasing the best of Tex-Mex cuisine. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite—it's clear that everything is made to order, which elevates the dining experience.
There was a bit of a wait, and the restaurant was short-staffed. But honestly, the food more than made up for it. Despite being stretched thin, the staff were attentive and friendly, doing their best to ensure I had a great experience.
The pricing was another highlight—great value for the quality of the food. It's rare to find a place where the quality and the price point align so perfectly, making every dollar well spent.

Read moreThe food is good but today I had a bad experience. Usually my biggest complaint is the wait time. They usually say its 20-25 minutes wait but i always end up waiting longer than told. This time my experience was really bad, I ordered a chicken chimichanga not realizing it has sausage (pork) gravy. When I got home, I called immediately asking if they can fix it. The lady on the phone 'Lee' says it's ur fault and I will charge you for another one. I told her I just wanted chicken. She kept saying that's not my fault, it's your fault. I said it would have been nice to tell me when I ordered chicken only, you could have mentioned that the gravy has sausage and due to religious reasons I can't eat it. She said that's not her problem. I have been to many restaurants and they always give my a heads up if I order chicken. They will let me know if something has pork in it.
