FORDS BBQ — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

Never been here before today January 11, 2022 and will never come back. I placed a pick up order for 1 whole chicken at 4:56 PM. The person taking the order said 30 minutes. I arrived at 5:40 PM. They had no food, no whole chicken, and didn’t care that they ruined my mothers order. I wouldn’t have eaten from here anyway. But I guess they can be ghetto and unprofessional to whomever they choose. Do not eat here.

So a couple hours after I wrote this review, the business wrote a reply that was neither apologetic nor did it address any issues. This is the definition of ghetto. An “honest mistake “? I called in to place an order. The order was taken. I arrived for my order. There was no order no apology and no one tried to rectify the situation. Ordered for the first time last week….ordered a chicken in garlic sauce which stated on the website comes with rice and fries. Picked up my order and no rice. I called and the response was your order said fries….I explained that the online order makes you pick a side and only one side and rice isn’t even an option so I just thought that one was standard…then it became I’m sorry but the chicken in garlic only comes with fries and I will tell management to fix that on the website! This was our first time at this spot. We walked in and ordered 1 and 1. We got our food and realized they gave us an extra order and charged us. When we called the guy at the register swore we ordered 3 orders. There was only two of us. Instead of saying he misheard he told us we had to bring the food back in order to obtain a refund. Being a business owner myself this is OUTRAGEOUS! Especially when it was the cashiers fault. I drove ALL the way back, gave the food back and they refunded the card used. For the future when you made a mistake you eat that mistake for customer service purposes. Never do you make the customer come back to give you food your hopefully going to throw out anyway for a mistake on your part. Food was extremely mid on top of that....
