I rarely write reviews, but I felt the need to share my experience. I dont live in the area and was told by an old friend who grew up in the area told me to check it out.

I had a slice of pizza which was good.. BUT I ordered a chicken parm sandwich. Unfortunately, it was inedible, offered a bite to my mother and she couldnt eat it as well.. I tried to figure out why it was so bad. I had to throw it out. I am wondering why the chicken was cut into very small strips, normally a chicken cutlet parm sub is 4 5 larger pieces of chicken. Ive never seen that before in a chicken parm sub. The chicken and bread didnt seem fresh. The bread had a old odor.

I dont know what they are doing, or what is wrong.. but if I am to take a guess. It seems like the restaurant pre-cooks a batch of chicken cutlets, chops them up, and then uses chicken for both pizzas toppings and sandwiches orders. So when a chicken cutlet sandwich is order, they dont make a fresh fried cutlet, they just throw the pre-cooked, already cut fried chicken in the bread and then add sauce and cheese on it, toss it in the oven.. all that is doing is basically steaming/boiling the already cooked chicken.. no crisp to the chicken, felt like it had no breading fell off, like it was wet. I really dont know what else it could be..

I dont want this to be a bash, cause I know how hard it is to run a busines. But I also dont want to be buying something to just throw away and waste my money. I'm posting this as constructive criticis Also part of the reason is I saw similar review about the chicken parm sandwhich that someone complained about the taste of the chicken parm sub as well..Something isnt right and it hasnt changed.

On a positive note. The service was very good, poliet and...

We had San Remo catered for our housewarming party as we were in love with the quality of the food we got every time we had food there. It’s one of our go to Pizza place in the neighborhood. But today when I went, the quality was not so good. I ordered plain pizza with toppings. The moment I tried to take a slice of pizza in my plate everything just dropped. After almost 5 mins I went and tried to narrate the disappointment I had in the pizza to the person who was at the counter. I told him that it seems the consistency of the sauce is little too watery because the whole pizza is soggy and before I could even finish my sentence, he said he has been making Pizza for 20 years and nothing is wrong in the pizza.. it just needs to cool down. I realized there is no point in talking to someone who can’t take feedback, so I went back to my table. Even after 15 mins, the pizza was still soggy and with every slice I tried to take in the plate, everything just dropped instead of staying put on the slice.

Note to management- I have had pizzas at many places throughout the world including yours. I have been served pizzas right from the oven to my table; never have I ever experienced any disappointment in the texture of the pizza. But your place was first. I had no issues with the taste but the texture and I tried to give feedback but your staff was too adamant to take it. No point in making your loyal customers unhappy. 👎 I will think twice to order from here again. Attached are the pictures I took and you can see even when I packed in a box, the pizza was too soggy. You can see runny sauce on the surface of the...

I have ordered from San Remos for many years. Although the food is not great and has gone down hill the last few years, I continued to give them my business since the kids didn't have problems with the food. Today they have list me as a continuous customer over 19 CENTS! YES CENTS! this business is at my home several times a month. Making at least 20 dollars a visit and I always tip 5.00 dollars. Today I placed an order and advised them I did not have 20.19 on me but had 20.00. I advised them I would give them the 19 CENTS on the next delivery. The delivery guy comes here and tells me 20.00 I'd not the correct amount and they are in the business to make money. I told him I would give the 19 cents on their next visit. I could not believe that after years if being a customer they actually were making a big deal over 19 cents! I have him the 20.00 and took the food. I decided at that moment this was a has been place to oder from. I decided that would be the last 20.00 I will contribute to this establishment. The food has gone down hill over the years, and it just was insulting to be treated that way over 19 cents. I wish them luck and hope they improve in all areas back to the establishment they used to be years ago. I'm finding slot of classics in this area have been falling apart since covud....

I found a piece of METAL in my pizza — a serious safety hazard and not to mention something that could’ve caused serious injury. When I informed the owner, their response was shockingly nonchalant. No apology, no concern for my well-being, just an offer of another slice like it was no big deal. That level of negligence is outrageous. Not only is this a massive food safety violation, but the complete lack of responsibility or basic human decency from the owner is alarming. This isn’t just bad service — it’s dangerous. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Eat here at your own risk.
