Placed an order today Saturday August 24 at 10:19am and asked for egg whites and bacon (well done) platter only. It was supposed to be 5 pieces of bacon and egg whites on the side. It took me 15 minutes before I lost my patience because I was in a rush to get to work and until I didn’t ask about my order, they had forgotten me. How long does it take to cook egg whites and bacon? Shouldn’t even be half the time I received it at! Once I asked, Brian the manager what’s going on with my order, he went to the back and came back out 30 seconds later with it to only find out they made me an omelette instead. I told Brian about the situation and I told him I was late for work and that I wanted a refund. He didn’t even take a second to say “you know what, our mistakes let me take care of that for you and I’ll get it out in no time or you know what we made a mistake lemme get you a new one” Instead he didn’t say a word and starting typing away on the screen. Two words for you Brian, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Instead of trying to make things right you decide to not satisfy the customer and say “sure we’ll give you a refund” and think that makes everything ok. Well it doesn’t. It made it worse. Now you’re getting a review. After telling him, if he can make it in 2 minutes, I’ll take it (shame on you for not offering) he said “yes I can make it in 2 minutes” and I waited 2 minutes and he came out. I asked him why it took so long on the first and he made up some excuse about other orders even though the last 4 orders were customers that went after me. Totally unprofessional place despite of the nice set up they have going. I received my platter the second time; this time half the egg whites were missing and 2 of the bacon pieces had fat still not crisped out. After quite a few times of telling them, they still decided not to make my order like I wanted it. They charged me over $10 for 5 pieces of bacon (2 undercooked) and little egg white. Shame on you guys, ripping off people like that especially not even getting the order correct TWICE!! I been coming here for years but I’m gonna try to find a place that’s better than this place because I know they exist! By the way I threw out half the platter I just couldn’t eat it anymore because they didn’t cook...
Read moreMy husband is from Woodbridge and this is his favorite bagel shop. He tells me about it every time we go to Jersey to visit his family and unfortunately everytime we’ve gone to visit his family they have been closed do to relocating and remodeling. They were finally open this year but of course this is the one year we weren’t able to go visit his family. I reached out to the owner to see if there’s a way to get them shipped here so I can surprise my husband since he hasn’t had the bagels in over 6 years since he moved from Jersey and so I can finally try them. The owner was absolutely wonderful and was able to help make it possible, she let me choose the bagels I wanted and got them sent with two day shipping, she said gem individually wrapped every single bagel. And even through the wrapping we could smell how fresh they were and all the different flavors. My husband was absolutely amazed that I was able to get his bagels and said they were exactly how her remembers them, and still tasted amazing for not being super super fresh and to of gone through the mail. These bagels were bigger than any bagels I have seen and they taste phenomenal. I can definitely see why my husband loves them. My only disappointment is we don’t leave anywhere near them so we can’t have them whenever we want. But they have definitely got a life long customer in the times we do go...
Read moreKnot just Bagels was at one point a good small town shop in Woodbridge Township that was easy to access, slightly busy on weekend mornings, and had parking. Now with the new location you find parking to be almost impossible even with the parking in the rear of the building, in addition to this the building has a bit of weird set up for the entrances making it a bit confusing on where you should enter from. The lines are confusing as it’s mixed with the sea of people waiting for their food, even though it is large inside I found it incredibly cramped. When paying for my order I found it very strange that I had to come to the side almost behind the counter to pay and was then presented with a screen asking if I wanted to tip, tip what? I had just had to park a block and a half away, wait 40 minutes in the ocean of people, and on top of that you made me wait 5 more minutes to ring it up to take extra orders. On top of all of this my order was incorrect when I got home. I know they tried to upgrade but I feel like this is a classic example of watching a local spot go down hill trying to keep up with modern trends. The food in my opinion did not match the quality of before they closed, I will not...
