Very Very Poor Service, Very bad Experience. Never going there again. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. GO TO ANOTHER RESTAURANT for good dine in experience. It seems SIWA THAI staff never had a professional training or education about running a restaurant as the staff was way too rude. and LOTS of hidden charges.

they cannot serve more than 2 tables in their dine in lounge. As soon as we entered with family we were yelled to stay out side until they are ready for a table of 4 adult. they told us they dont have any table for 4 adult. which is very weird, we saw lot of tables are available and half of the lounge was empty. instead of welcoming us and ask us to wait they told wait out side on the road for 10 mins.

The waitress was not educated enough to take order properly and got our ordered mixed up and got it wrong , multiple times as she has to run when they were serving only two tables in entire lounge.

when order arrived , food was also missing important contents of the food. after informing the waitress she got it fixed and also charged us for fixing their issue, charged multiple time for veggies and one egg which supposed to be a part of the dish.

In the bill waitress added lot of hidden charges including charges for making her work lol . table for 4 adult = 15 dollar charge for large table which I have never seen any where before in any other restautant . really really stupid. they should have a sign for all the hidden charges.

Food was OK.Service was really...

My father wanted to treat me to dinner along with my daughter, and so i googled Thai restaurants, and i chose this restaurant. Upon entering i saw how tight the space was and decided to give it a try. The woman who walked up to us asked how much seating we needed and I told her 3 and she walked us to the far back right back table which was next to a small sink and in front of the kitchen entrance. I declined that seating and asked to be seated closer to the entrance of the restaurant. That was the first red flag for me. Since it was a windy cold night we felt the cold air each time the door opened. The food came and we started eating from the appetizer sampler and since they didn't serve us spoons to scoop the sauces, i used my fork. My daughter's food was good (she ordered something with pineapple & tofu), my dad's food was okay (he had a dish with tofu & vegetables and i had shrimp with my spicy meal which was good. As we sat and talked with food still in front of us the lady who served us asked us do we need to go containers. Second red flag. We never asked fir the check and we were still eating. I just told her that she could bring containers so that we could leave. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my coworkers, friends, or family. Strickland Steakhouse is on the same block and i should have chosen that wonderful restaurant. Racism/Colorism is still alive, but it's certain places i go to like this, where I feel it. Never again. I visited Siwa Thai today with my two small children. Something seemed off from the time we arrived. I was the only person in the restaurant, when I went to order I had questions about the food but was never offered a menu, it just seemed strange. I sat down at one of the tables with my children and waited for our food. When my food was ready it was brought out in a takeout bag, which was fine! That didn’t bother me. However, when I went to eat my meal the server rushed over before I could take a bite and told me I could not eat in the restaurant. I was very taken aback, she said that because I ordered takeout that I was not allowed to eat in the restaurant. First of all, I did not order takeout. I visited the establishment and ordered in the restaurant. Second, there was not a soul in the restaurant, I was the only patron there. The server told me that if I wanted to eat in the restaurant I should have stated that. She told me her boss would be coming in soon and I could not been seen eating “takeout”. So I had to pack up my two small children, pack up our food and leave. If you decide to visit Siwa Thai make sure you specify that you want to dine in the restaurant, otherwise you will not be welcome. I’ve never experienced this anywhere else. Needless to say I will not be...

My husband took me for my birthday. It's a small place with, of course, limited space. Also, they don't take reservations, which i understand by limited seating. I actually prefer the small and warm places over the big chain restaurants. I loved the ambiance. The service was excellent and the food was delicious . The staff was friendly and attentive. I want to make a comment about the review from Suzy E. I personally think it's absolutely Bs. When we visited, mixed denominations had dinner . White, black, Spanish, and Asian and everyone were treated the same way. But of course, there is always the one , when not happy , playing the race card. Maybe that one is the one with the race issues. I'm just saying.

This is a brand new restaurant, opened officially 06/18/21. We showed up the next day and the staff was very welcoming!Since we found out that the owner is a real Thai, we tested out: Pad Thai with shrimps, Pad Kra Pao (spicy sautéed chicken with veggies, tofu, and chicken) with a small side of white rice, and Thai Spring Roll. The Pad Thai won over the other two, because real authentic mix of flavors; also surprised me, in a positive way, the large size of shrimps. Not crazy about the spring rolls because very greasy. Overall, it was a good experience. In case you are in Woodbridge area, I suggest you to stop by in Main Street, and give this new restaurant a try.
