I only take the time out to write reviews if it’s either a wonderful experience or a terrible one. I went to the mall and I ordered a vegetarian pizza. Firstly the woman behind taking orders didn’t understand plain English when I asked her what goes on the specialty pizza instead she kept telling me it’s two slices. I told her I want the whole pie she kept saying two slices. I was right about to leave until I pointed at the vegetarian pizza behind the glass. Point of the review: the entire back is choral burned. I ate the crust and the toppings. Why did I buy pizza you ask? Because I was out all day and I didn’t cook for my kids so now they will see a pizza box with burned charcoal pizza inside it. Why did I pay $24? I’m not understanding are these people doing us customers a favor by giving us food? Oh I’m sorry I missed the part where I paid for the pizza. Just like how you stand there and get paid by the hour that’s exactly how others get paid and they come to you to buy their food and this is what you give them, a box full of cancer. Incase someone doesn’t know burn foods cause cancer. Is there a way I can add photos to show you guys who are reading this review. Next time before you eat your pizza look at the back of it.
Update: I called them to let them know what happened and a nice employee told me to come and get a new pizza which was great because I did pay for it, however: the new pizza was COLD even though they literally made it in front of me. The same lady made it again, she said it would be made within 10 minutes it was cold. Can’t re-complain so I left it alone and took the cold pizza warmed...
Read moreThis afternoon, I met a friend for lunch at Woodbridge Center Mall Sbarro. Both of us chose the "2 Slice Combo," which includes a beverage, for $12.49. With New Jersey sales tax, that comes to $26.63, yet Sbarro charged us $29.30. The counter clerk read my expression correctly and, before I could ask, he explained there were extra charges for our pan veggie slices and lemonade. Bait and switch? I saw nothing posted about certain pizza or drink selections costing more.
It would seem this counter clerk was the only person working and wasn't about to wipe down tables when he had a chance, as ours and a few others I noticed needed a damp cloth. I wondered what the lady whose photo, one of several adorning the restaurant walls that seem to represent Sbarro's Brooklyn beginnings, would have said about this. "Madonn!"
The pizza was pretty good, at least for a chain store. However, with the above in mind, it will be a while before I try Sbarro again; maybe when they...
Read moreI was at the Woodbridge mall to visit Sea Quest and I happened to came across this restaurant. Since we were waiting to get into the Sea Quest, we went ahead and took kids for Cheese Slice. I had ordered 4 slices and after the price tags that I saw, it would have worth getting the pie which should have been mentioned by cashier and they never did . Anyways, after that I wanted to try Spinach rolls and they were amazing but definitely on the expensive side. I would recommend this restaurant if you are...
