Read moreUPDATE: We received nice text communications from King Chef about their closing early due to the holiday, and they apologized that it wasn't posted. Because of that, we decided to try ordering again and were very happy we did. Many positives: perfect rice, the Hunan chicken was delicious, meat tender and perfectly cooked vegetables, the Szechuan shrimp tasty and perfectly cooked shrimp and veggies. The hot & sour soup was very salty, but ingredients were good (not at all hot, though), and the spring rolls were good. None of the dishes labeled as 'hot" were at all spicy, and just a hint of heat was evident in the Szechuan sauce (we'll just ask for a bit more spice next time). Did not see dumplings/pot stickers on the menu and no fortune cookies in the bag, but not a big deal. We will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes, Bento Boxes and Udon...
Read moreI’ve been going here when before King Chef even replaced Wok Wok. I’m pretty forgiving. I know things happen, but not only once. It was two plates in a row that had hair in the food. After the second plate We got our money back. That’s fine I guess. The owner caught an attitude with my girlfriend and myself and tried to insinuate that the hair came from one of us, like we planted it or something which is absurd. The least they could do is own up to their mistake. That’s no way to treat a customer. In a hostile tone “This hair is curly, none of us have curly hair”...Those were the employee’s exact words. This place is without a doubt...
