Just recently started going to Cold Stone. Their ice cream is out of this world. Unfortunately, I was there last night and wa really taken aback by the service from a man who said he was the manager. See, I was there for the second time in 2 days. The first time I spent 23.00 and this last time, 17.00. When I went to pay, I was told that they don't accept anything larger than 20 dollar bills. Well, I had 2 ,100.00 dollar bills and a 5. I asked the manager what he wanted me to do. He then took my 100.00 dollar bill, held it up to the light and then said, he would take it. What the heck was that about? I asked why he told me he couldn't accept it, but then accepted it any way. He began to tell me that he was the only one in the store, that could accept anything larger than a 20. Really? In today's day and age, you guys don't have the resources to determine if my 100.00 dollar bill is not counterfeit? Why not make every employee able to determine a counterfeit from a real bill? Why tell me at all that you cannot accept it, then accept it. Anyway, the idea that I would walk in to an ice cream establishment with my 11 year old to buy 17.00 worth of ice cream with a counterfeit bill is rediculous. You guys need to figure out how to make this better. If I'm in the mall with my kids or by myself, and don't have something smaller than 100.00 bill, u want me to leave and go to Colonia instead? Or maybe I should have to make a trip to the bank at 8 p.m. before I go to your store? so I need to go to 2 places in order to get ice cream for my kids and wife? Nope, next time I will make one trip to one ice cream parlor and save myself the hassle of being told my money is no good there. Too bad your service isn't half as good as your ice cream. The manage needs to be retrained on how to deal with customers. He was incredibly unprofessional and in fact, was more inflammatory...

We ordered a birthday cake, 2 days before the birthday. When we opened it (for her to cut the cake) it was stale, disgusting and smelled really bad. We called the Cold Stone in Woodbridge and requested them if we could bring the cake (for them to check what was wrong with it) and replace it - and they said they need to "investigate and call back" the call back was never made. An hour later when we called them they simply said we had a rush in and that's why we couldn't give you a call back and that they have decided that they will not replace the cake and not give us compensation.
I asked why? And the lady said her boss (whose name we found out was Steven) decided that
They are the worst place to buy cake, pathetic customer service and downright rude of Steven not to even bother calling his cusoter...
