Sukhadia's Edison- Fresh Kitchen & Indian Bistro — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

Went first time! Food was good but service was as bad as it gets gets. Bought 2 water bottles and the cooler they keep in wasnt on or not working, so it was so hot. Asked for ice, none of the workers tried to help. Cashier was rude and mean and another lady who was refilling water said there ice which she pointed was free cold water dispenser. So, if I wanted free water why I paid $4 for water. We ordered $89 worth food to eat there.at the end we wanted some left overs. Went to ask for containers I specifically asked for 2 containers and I was polite to ask and said please. Lady behind the kitchen rudley gave me 1 instead. So I again asked one more please she literally was mad and threw container on the top of there desk. I mean why are you treating your own Indian people like this. Do you forget you come from there too. Why no one willing to show respect. We are not there to eat your food for free, we paid. I was so excited to come Jersey to eat our food and enjoy.but you guys managed to ruin everything by your service. Your taste good but humanity and hospitality should be there along with that. Remember there are options in your city and just because you guys are known well don't give you any right to treat person the way me and my family was treat today. Respect you own culture and people. Unless you left it back home when you came to united states of America. Here treating people with respect means a lot. Learn humanity you all are not working for free that you are treating us this way to hurt people like these. My other family told this how they treat. Shouldn't be that way. And if you have problems with your employer take it out on them not on paiying customer please. Mind it that I am also came from India and learn to respect everyone I'm proud...

I went to this so called famous sweet shop of New Jersey, Sukhadias just now. Shop was empty but for two couples. It was smelling ..smelling so badly of the Oil used for some preparation. It's Canola Oil I was told ..which is nothing but Rapeseed Oil used earlier times in India by our vilaagers in Odisha ,West Bengal etc. This is bad for your health. That's the first reason for my giving Single star. We took two packets of Bombay Vada Pav and a half pound of Moti Chur Laddu. Came home and opened the packets. Oh God. Bombay Vada Pav is stale and Bun was so hard we have no option but to leave it. So we opened the Moti Chur packet and tasted. This one was equally stale and bad. Then I remembered. The lady who was doing duty , came to where the Laddu s are displayed. Normally what happens ... the sales person takes these sweet meats one by one and once it's done ,go to the weighing machine and then gives us. This lady must be a magician..so within no time she gave us a packet containing 6 pieces of Laddu..saying half pound. We didn't suspect anything and thought it's ok and paid and came home. The stalesness of this Moti Chur says only one thing ..they are still selling those sweets made for Deepavali to unsuspecting customers. Let honesty be damned. This shop people are so confident that even selling stale and bad items is Ok because of their name. It's for us,customers to decide. I say don't give them a chance to cheat us and make money. Note:: I am forced to give single star because there is nothing below this or else it would have been minus fifty(-50) like the...

This place is great in terms of varieties of food items one can get. Lots of sweets and snacks. I am giving three stars because of two incidents which happened back to back. I am sure many others may have faced the same

Incident 1: Two or Three weeks back, I got "Fafda" from this place. It comes with Kadhi-chutney which is kept in refrigerator. I came home, opened the Kadhi-chutney and it had some smell and texture was bad. It went bad already. So I needed to throw it away. At that time, I called but the number on Google routes to Head-Office. (at least that's what I was told when I called). They said they are sorry. The end.

Incident 2: Today, Oct 5th 2021, I went to get Samosas. I got 4 Punjabi Samosa(which are bigger in size) and got 4 Regular Samosa(which are smaller in size) around at 4pm EST. I came home. At 5:30pm Started heating the Samosas as my evening snacks. The regular samosas(small ones) were stale and gone bad. (Yes, I ate one and didn't realize but I smelled later and that had foul smell). I confirmed with remaining three other Samosas and threw them away !!

Called the number. (Again Head-office). Lady told me that I can go back and replace them !! As it was already Dinner time (around 6pm), I told that I can't go now. Lady told me how about tomorrow !! I told her that I am not looking for anything free but infact I would not prefer to come or atleast I won't buy those items ever.
