Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Woodburn

Jack in the box and door dash are partners. we ordered food. Paid online thru the website including $11 in door dash delivery fees + gratuities. Email confirmation said our food would be delivered in 70 mins. After 70 mins we got a message saying our food was delayed another 30 mins. so another 30 mins later we got another message saying my order was canceled. And I was given a number to contact that jack in the box store for details and or refund. However the phone number they provided was a non working number. So I looked up that jack in the box, to get the phone number but again all that was listed was a non working number. completely unable to reach anyone over the phone from that jack in the box. Very frustrating wasting my time and gas having to drive down to the Jack in the box. It's already late in the day after 6pm. I spoke to a young lady inside and explained that I just wanted to get the food that i already paid for I didn't even care about the delivery fees I just want my food or a refund. So the young lady tells me she needs to contact her boss. So I take a seat for about 15min I waited for her to come back to me with a phone number for me to call to get a refund.

What a total waste of peoples time.

This happened Wednesday nite. I finally got my refund...

We were on the way home from a concert out of town, exhausted as we had been slowed by not 1 but 3 accidents. There had been nothing by way of food for miles, when by chance we spotted a small sign for a Jack n the box. This was not a fav but considering how scarce fast food or any food for that matter was at this time of night we reluctantly turned off at the exit. Boy am I glad we did! Absolutely Perfect in every way! From the service to the fresh buns, patties, and fries this place completely wow'd me. I can't remember the last time the food was this fresh, the order was quick, and the guy working the window that night ...U NEED TO MAKE HIM MANAGER!!! All smiles, polite, made sure we had everything we needed and even parted ways with a "Have a blessed evening." ..AND ALL THIS AROUND MIDNIGHT!!! No complaints, just 110% service in every way. This was an experience EVERY fast food restaurant should strive for. Kudos to u my friend. If we come through this way again u can bet we'll be by, only this time we'll be tipping! Thank u for making me a believer in cx...

i like the food, my issue isn't with that at all. i made the review 1 star so there's a better chance someone "higher up" sees this; the self serve drink machine at this location REALLY needs to be fixed. i think the problem is that the screen protector is too far from the actual screen, or something along those lines, because it was very difficult to press the buttons and we had to press on the screen really hard for it to do anything and my dad was the only person who could get it far enough to get it on sprite but then my brother and i couldn't press hard enough so we just ended up getting sprite too. this is really inconvenient and honestly a waste of this location's energy bill, as i know for a fact those drink machines can run up the bill pretty high. so for your sake and the customer's, please take care of this issue. luckily i was just stopping here on a road trip and will not be frequenting this location, but i imagine anyone who lives where this is the closest location gets frustrated with...
