Unique presentation where small individual plates of assorted sushi pass by on a refrigerated conveyor on the counter in front of you. A few booths with food access. Each small plate has a clear cover to see what is on the plate and keep the food clean and refrigerated. There was a wide variety of rolls, sushi and dessert plates all of which were very clean and fresh. Overall the restaurant felt like a clean modern Diner specializing in sushi. As with almost every Diner I've ever been in, servers were friendly and Speedy seeming to go the extra mile to make sure you are pleased. if there was any negative to be told it would be the fact that there was a small selection of actual raw fish most of the plates were stuffed with various avocado crab meat Etc I attributed this to the fact that they are very popular and the $1.95 per plate happy hour caused the more expensive fresh fish like salmon and tuna to rapidly vanish with sushi chefs working feverishly to keep up with demand. I did not feel like the lack of salmon and tuna was in any way an attempt to skimp on the quality or cost of...

I just moved into town and I use to have a sushi spot similar to this one by my house. I wanted to try something new and try this spot out since I live so close. I went in and saw a couple sitting down so after standing for 5 mins I sat down since I didn’t know how their dine in works. I sat and had a conversation with a women next to me for about 10 mins and a young man comes in and immediately the waitress gets up to sit him. I’m now confused because when I came in I did not greeted or talked to in general. I waited for 10 more mins and the waitress kept passing by me just staring at me . Then pointed at me to the cashier to ask what I was waiting for and they both shrugged. She walked away and STILL continued ignoring me. So I got up and left. I worked at a restaurant similar to this it doesn’t hurt to have customer service once in a while. It doesn’t hurt to ask or check in with customers. This is the reason that sometimes people treat waitress the way they do because sometimes they aren’t just...

High quality fish however the wait staff was very obviously annoyed that we arrived a half hour before closing. My friend tried to sit at the bar but was directed to a booth instead. The girls proceded to actively ignore us by avoiding eye contact even though I tried politely to catch the attention of either one for a few minutes. Eventially I stood up to order directly from the chefs who were kind and obliging. When leaving we again could not get the wait staffs attention so we stood up at the cash register untill they cashed us out. The girl who took our payment was incredibly rude even though we were polite, thanked her and even made a light hearted joke about them getting busy out of the blue. She didn't respond at all to the point that we didnt even know she was done with the transaction. I will give this place another chance because they do have good food and the chefs...

Pretty bad experience overall. I didn’t get what I ordered so I went back inside to aware them that this is not what I wanted. The only thing the guy told me was that it was my fault, not theirs. That it’s always the customers fault. I was unable to get a refund as the guy started to raise his voice on me. It is really difficult to order through the phone when they don’t speak English very well and hard to understand them when they talk. So, how are we supposed to order food when the person taking the order doesn’t even understand. Then they get mad at you and blame you for ordering the wrong food. I also had an order of chicken teriyaki and it was drowning in teriyaki sauce that was really watered down. Bad experience and will not come here again. If you want good Asian food, go to Mashita’s on the other side of town.

We were pretty excited to find a hole in wall sushi places as those tend to be the most authentic. My daughter was even more excited that it was a conveyor belt type sushi place. However the fish did not taste fresh at all and was rather lukewarm. I also got the tempura udon and it was bland and watery, not the depth of flavors I was used to. My husband ordered the seafood udon and his looked exactly the same as mine - I think all they did was added tempura to mine on the side and pieces of seafood to his in his udon, but the broth was the exact same. The only thing that was superb was their fresh oranges which were sweet. Overall the food wasn’t inedible, it was middle to lower middle.

I really love the sushi here, they also have great alternative options like yakisoba and bento bowls. The prices are very good and the speedy service is even better. I love how everything is fresh and I expect no less. Definitely recommend if you want to eat something delicious and with lots of flavor. The to go option is also a great alternative in case you are in a rush. They have your lunch ready to go right away.
