I've never had a bad experience at Chipotle. Until a visit at Woodburn. It was in the evening around 8:00 pm.
I came in to grab some chips to go and a bowl. My little girl was with me. When I walked up to the counter, the employee left and walked to a back kitchen table. She clearly saw us. Not one word was said.. like, " i'll be with you in a minute" or anything. She began stuffing chips in bags.
I waited and waited, until the other employee who was sweeping the dining area, took off her headphones and walked over to find out what I needed. She asked me if I had it to-go order. And I said, no, i'm here to order and just wanted some chips and things.
The employee that was cleaning up told me that there are no chips available....While the other employee was stuffing chips in a bag in the back.
I asked if I could have the chips from the employee that was putting them in a bag and was told No, those are for to-go orders.
Hmmm... So can I make my order to-go? I asked.
She said No, there's not enough salt to put on the chips because they need it for tomorrow's meat. if she gives me chips without salt, then everyone complains...
Hmmm.. she was clearly frustrated with me, and the other employee ignored me. I was going to order more food, but clearly just ordering chips was a problem.
I sent a message to the corporate office and they've never responded back.
Sadly, this is probably one of the worst experiences at a Chipotle I've ever had.
The employees appeared completely annoyed to have to engage with someone. They were not interested in processing an order. And they were shorthanded. I would highly recommend that they find a manager for this store. One who could help with customer service training, hiring enough employees and ensure there is enough materials ordered to stay up with...
Read moreSave yourself trouble and skip this place! First, it was dirty! Which was odd since the place was empty. Second, I was asked if I had an online order, and I replied that I did not. The guys attitude shifted, he sighed and then said, "I'll help you over here." Like I was bothering him or something!
I noticed that most of their food bins were empty, so I asked if they were closing, and he replied with, "no", but it was said like, "not yet, but we are trying to". So ai clarified, "are you closing, or not", since they still had almost 1.5 hours before their posted close time. Then some gal next to him snipped at me, "he told you no". These people are rude!
So, I figured they were in the process of replacing them. The area behind the glass was the worst in terms of filth! Again, the place was empty! So I asked for their current special, the Chicken Al Pastor, and he says, "we don't have that". I asked, "what do you mean you don't have it, it's your special", to which he said, "well, we're out of it, "and shrugged his shoulders as he looked back behind him. Why? Making sure no one heard him? I turned around and left. I will order the meals for five, somewhere else!
I hope their management reviews the camera footage and can see what a joke this place was! I heard Chipotle was doing bad, so I was happy to stop in and be a bit nostalgic. I now can see why they are struggling as a business. Too bad, but they clearly don't want...
Read moreStopped in here after shopping thinking we would grab a quick lunch. Ordered a salad and a bowl. Staff Unfriendly and seemed annoyed that they had customers. Got to the checkout and asked for the salad dressing for the salad, was told they don’t have any so I asked for some sour cream since there was salad dressing… That seemed to be annoying to him. Staff seemed to not want to be there, no hello, can I help you…, nothing. Was out of service So everyone was waiting to use one. There were no forks or utensils available, so I went to the counter and asked for a couple of forks only to be told that they don’t have any. We were supposed to The response was a shrugging of the shoulders. Fortunately, Jack-in-the-Box was close and was more than accommodating to provide us with a fork. When we were finally able to eat our meals, we ended up throwing out about half of each one because the meat was so And gross!! We love that next to our house. This one is a dud! This place really needs management That knows how to inventory in order, there’s no excuse to be out of forks, salad dressing, and other basic items to eat your meal. In addition, management should be guiding staff to let customers know that there are no utensils Prior to that would require use of utensils to eat.
Would highly suggest skipping this...
