Red Rock Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Woodbury

This is a very nice restaurant that is located inside of the hotel, they have a very lovely dining area for guests and a warm fire place to sit next to and have a cocktail/drink. We decided to go there since they serve food until 11pm and everything else was about to close on a Tuesday night. The Cajun pasta is yummy and their Tuscan chicken soup of the day was more like a warm hearty chicken noodle, I recommend a bowl instead of a cup. The wings were very very delicious! We always ask for extra crispy, which came out amazing! Haven’t tried the Hawaiian but the Spicy Diablo dry rub isn’t as hot as you’d think. I actually I enjoyed the ambience more than anything; quiet, inviting and elegant. Would definitely recommend to locals or anyone out of town! Charging $20 for a glas of wine that I could buy at the liquor store for $16 for the bottle is ridiculous. $17 for truffle fries? Are you kidding me? This place is a rip off. The bartender told me they were out of most of the wines on the menu, and rattled off my options. She did not tell me the price of the glass I ordered, or that it was more expensive than any offered on the menu. Being familiar with the brand I ordered, and its price, I did not think to ask the price of the glass. The bartender couldnt stop talking about them taking away her shifts b/c she had overtime, or the fact that the bar and kitchen were out of a number of items, and was not the most pleasant or attentive. Plenty of other bar/restaurant choices nearby, with better prices, and service. Dont waste...

We visited on a Tuesday evening and had the dining area to ourselves, which was perfect for my 96-year-old grandmother. The quiet atmosphere allowed her to hear everything and more easily join in on the conversations.

Our waitress was kind and attentive, with a traditional touch—she served the ladies at the table before the gentlemen, something I had not experienced before dining here. The food was better than we expected it to be, especially given that the menu was on the smaller side. We even got a slice of chocolate cake in honor of the birthday we were celebrating. Overall, it’s a nice spot to bring your family if you’re looking for a very calm, relaxed setting.
