Bellagio Bistro — Restaurant in Woodfin

About a month after the experience below, I revisited Bellagio Bistro. I can say that in this most recent experience, Bellagio's redeemed itself. I ordered the Gyro platter and was much happier with the food. In addition, the service was better and the staff and manager actually went out of their way to help us, as clients, in an unusual circumstance. Much appreciated!

I must say I was disappointed with my visit. I ordered the steak and cheese sub and would say that it was mediocre. The side of veggies was overcooked and bland. But, the worst was the service. I went in with my 4 year old and 2 year old boys. They were both hungry for their lunch. Has anyone ever tried to hold off hungry and tired young boys in a food establishment? I asked for a high chair and stood next to my table for 4-5 minutes waiting on a high chair. I finally sat down and waited some more. Someone did finally bring it, but then we sat and waited a good 7 minutes before a server ever came to the table. Many servers made eye contact with me and served tables all around me, but just ignored the fact that I was sitting there with no service. Ordered a "chicken Greek salad" from the lunch menu listed at $6.99. Received a giant plate of mainly iceberg lettuce (isn't the most "American" of greek salads at least romaine?) that was obviously bagged as it looked to have the typical carrot, red cabbage combo you'd see in a bagged lettuce. I believe I counted 2 kalamati olives in the whole mess. The onions were yellow and not red and the chicken was satisfactory but hardly seasoned. When I went to pay the bill, I was charged substantially more. The hostess said I had received the "dinner" "chicken Greek salad". Well, it was 12:15 PM and I clearly had the lunch menu sitting in front of me when I ordered. My dissatisfaction was obvious; however, the hostess made no move to correct the issue. I ate all the chicken but left most of the bagged salad on my plate, so I certainly didn't consume a full "dinner" salad. My family has been going to Bellagio Bistro since it has opened, as regular, arguably weekly costumers. Recently, over the past 6 months, definitely within the last 4 times I have been to Bellagio's all my orders have been wrong. These have been take- out orders each time. Tonight, my family thought we would give them another chance and the entree was COMPLETELY wrong!!! We called back out to the restaurant, asked to speak to the manager, (Chris) (not Pappas). I explained to the manager that my order was incorrect for the 4th time now. He was not very apologetic or accommodating, nor did he even offer to fix my messed up order for tonight! He said he could give a small discount for the next time I ordered. He then went to say that I should have checked my order before leaving the store. (Hello people, that is the job of your waiting staff.) In fact, I even asked the hostess if my order was correct, fries sauces food. She read the order correctly, and still an incorrect order.
