Kwan's Chop Suey — Restaurant in Woodhaven

Sad, I been going here for 20 years but lately the food is subpar at best, bland and not good. Today the chicken was very chewy and soggy. The chicken friend rice use to be amazing but now tastes like oil and was missing the chicken. We asked for scallions in the rice but they did not put any in the rice. The shrimp lomein had no taste and the steak was very chewy as well. We literally could not eat it and just throughout the shrimp and steak lomein. Charged me for two egg drop soups but only order one. Would not refund the money. Sad I'm going to have to start going somewhere else. $60 for egg drop soup and soup noodles because literally this was the only thing we eat....

I've been getting take out from here for the last 18 years and honestly it's my favorite all time Chinese restaurant. We order the same thing every time and the owner knows us so we'll we don't even have to tell him what we want. It's the Kung Pow chicken with extra meet and extra sauce. The quality has never changed over the years, the chicken is high quality and generous portions, the veggies are fresh, and it's always delicious. I love Chinese food and have tried it from all over the state but I never get Kung Pow chicken anywhere else. I know I'd be deeply disappointed because they can't beat Kwan's or...

Yuck! With limited options we gave this a shot. Drove 20 mins waited 45mins for our food and neither my husband or I found it Edible. Sweet and sour was nothing but yellow vinegar. Literally permeated through my house. The general chicken was not any better. No flavor, just salty chicken cooked in old oil that was not hot enough so the chicken inside was as greasy as the outside. Huge waste of time and money. Ended up eating Taco Bell. I have no idea how the ratings are so high!!! Hopefully it was just a bad off night for them otherwise you people are nuts! The only thing worse than Corona lockdown...
