Firehouse Subs West Rd at Allen — Restaurant in Woodhaven

This place is dog garbage. I went in one day, and asked the cashier if I could specifically order a custom sub with ONLY the items on the sub that I specified. I was not rude. I have worked in customer service and the food industry in the past. The cashier said it would be no problem, so I asked if I could have a sub with ONLY turkey and roasted peppers. The cashier seemed a bit confused and asked if I wanted cheese. I said no cheese. I grabbed my sub and opened it up to put hot sauce on it before I left, and the sub had mayo, lettuce, tomato, and cheese on it. I assumed they gave me someone else's sub. I said, I think you gave me the wrong sub, and they said no, that is the right sub. I grabbed the receipt and gave it to the guy politely said, I ONLY wanted turkey and roasted peppers and pointed it out on the receipt. THE GUY SAID DO YOU WANT ME TO JUST SCRAPE IT OFF OR REMAKE IT?! What kind of service is that?! You can't just scrape all that garbage off, and If I wanted that I could've done it myself. Okay whatever, they remake the sub, I pop it open again to put hot sauce on it, and It has everything it had before EXCEPT IT WAS MISSING PEPPERS! WOW, how do you screw up the same sub twice after you have been given specific directions. You basically made the wrong sub the same exact way twice in a row. I was upset so i spiked it in the garbage in front of them and left. What a waste of money. I'll never be back, and I always tell people not to go to firehouse. I tell everyone about my story, since people I work with often consider it, but they always end up going somewhere else. Maybe they replaced everyone's brain with mayo, lettuce and tomatoes. I went here for lunch. When I walked in I realized that I never see any of my U.A.W sister/ brothers here. I see why. They are very slow & In my opinion do not care about their customers. I asked if I could bulid my sandwich. I was told yes.I asked for ranch on the side. You can see I didn't add mayonnaise but my sandwich had mayo. I called & ask is this mayo & was told yes. Got carry-out. When opened container, was surprised to see meat on only half of sub. I called and spoke to Joe who told me to bring it back and they would replace it. I told him we were going to eat the half with meat on it before we drove all the way back for an adjustment. Nothing else was said. I returned the empty half, and "general manager" said it was impossible for that to have happened. When I pointed out you could clearly see nothing was put on the half, she accused me of removing the meat!
