Wild Birds Unlimited — Local services in Woodhaven

If you are a wild bird enthusiast you will enjoy this store. Yesterday was my first visit there and it happened to be the 1st Anniversary of their opening. The store is in the strip mall that houses Target and Home Goods at Allen and West Roads - and they are about two doors down from Planet Fitness. I had the pleasure of meeting owner, Phil, and Sales Associate Brittany who schooled me on reasons why I shouldn't mow my leaves or put them in refuse bags ... but leave them in raked piles for the health of the insects, butterflies, birds, and soil. She also introduced me to a plethora of innovative bird feeders as well as food products. I left there with the exact bird bath deicer I was hoping to find and a substantial free sample of "filler free" bird seed as well as other items. This place is awesome, people there can tell you any information you want to know about birds.told the lady i was looking for something to hang in the tree at the cemetary above my mom & dad .she showed me different barrels of food & gave me a free hanger.how nice was that ! She also gave me a free bag of their loose bird food to try.next time i will find out about the butterfly houses & bat houses they have.very cool place.also a gentleman came out of a door & said i heard someone new was here, i just wanted to come out & welcome you.very nice people,...

Phil, the owner, and the girls there, know just about everything you can imagine about birds. I just attended their monthly class about backyard birds in Michigan and got so much information about the birds I see every day. I learned how to identify birds, how to attract certain birds to your feeders, their preference of food depending on the bird, their habitat and a bunch more information. I love this store because they can always answer my questions and help me out with anything...
