Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Woodhaven

It's hard to leave 3 stars when the pizza was so good but let me explain... it's a customer service thing, really.

We ordered in the store, face to face. We were told 20 min which sounded about right to make and cook a pizza, and hand it to us across the counter. So, we were like, okay, we will just wait here then. But 20 minutes is not what happened.

Be honest with the customer. If you tell us it will be ready for pickup in 20 min, do your best to have it ready.

What you shouldn't do is tell the customer 20 min, then tell them 7 more minutes and then it actually be 40 minutes longer than you initially stated. We were in the store waiting on it and were told to our face, just a few more minutes.

Seriously, just tell me 58 min from the start, I'm good with that. I would have ran an errand or dropped the kids at home and came back. That's all...

So, we ordered online and tracked the order. We got a text that delivery was on the way. We live less than two miles away and so we assumed from the "your delivery is on the way" it would arrive within the next 15 minutes. 30+ minutes later we call to ask what's going on and the excuse they gave was "we only have one delivery driver" on a Saturday, during dinner hours. The food finally arrives, breadsticks that are hard as rocks withous a sauce cup, a stuffed crust pizza flatter than a pancake, no sauce on it, rubbery cheese and less than a handful of toppings. Aside from the fact that Digiorno pizza is better by comparison, it's cheaper too. 4 dollars for delivery and 18 for that sad excuse of a pizza, I just don't even know. DO NOT EAT HERE! This Pizza Hut location is the worst. We usually order 12 wings, pizza, dessert and with the $4 delivery charge comes to nearly $40. I ordered in February and received wings that the sauce had turned into lard at the bottom of the container and the pizza was cold. They text you that your order is on its way but it take an additional 30 minutes to arrive. Where did my food go? We never received a response from either Pizza Hut corporate or the store. We decided to give them another chance since we have 700+ rewards points we were going to order our typical order. Again, the chicken wings, pizza and dessert was cold, the pizza seemed as if it was dropped upside down and the chicken wings were horrible. We will not go back to this location again.
