The Big Salad — Restaurant in Woodhaven

I would like to start off by saying that I'm very disappointed I was so excited to see a healthy restaurant coming to the neighborhood I was anxious to go in fact I went there before they were even open thinking that it was open but today I had the opportunity of going my cousin and myself but unfortunately when I arrive my cousin and I walk through the door and the three young ladies who were behind the counter they act like we came in to Rob them or something before you knew it they all huddled up and began talking amongst ourselves we still there for a while maybe two maybe three minutes max just wondering when someone was going to say hello how are you how can I help you so my cousin asks is this where you start the salad bar and they said yeah and they continue to talk as if we weren't even standing there they were so rude it was unbelievable and quite frankly I'm appalled and I'm concerned because I hate to pull the race card but that's what it seemed and it became more visible when three white gentleman walked into the establishment and they were greeted so wholeheartedly and they were so nice to them and they asked them things and they explained everything to them but us on the other hand they acted like we had some type of disease or like they didn't want to help us or we were inconveniencing them by coming into the establishment and sad to say I will not be returning to this establishment due to the lack of...

As a huge fan of Snappy Salads and Salatas in Texas, I was excited when I found out that Woodhaven would be getting something similar. I finally got to visit this evening and sad to say that my experience was disappointing. I dragged my cousin out with me this evening to finally try it out. We walked in and were the only two inside. We continued over to the end to start building our salads. As we walked over, a lady walked from the register over to where 2 other employees were standing on the end, behind the counter. When we finally reached the starting point we both stood there waiting. As we were waiting, standing DIRECTLY in front of the 3 employees (1 older lady and 2 younger girls), they continued to talk. We stood there long enough for them to clearly see we were ready. For a second I thought we were invisible. I spoke up and asked if this is where we begin to make our salads. They continued to talk. I excused myself and asked again when finally, one of them decided to acknowledge us! No one apologized and seemed bothered to have to make our salads. I should've left right then and there. It was my first experience at this “BIG SALAD”. The food looked freshed no doubt and since it was my first time there I didn’t really know how to order. The lady taking my order was very rude, I wanted a Mediterranean salad turned into a wrap but she I can’t do that. So I then I ordered a soup and salad. I realized she wasn’t getting my soup so I had a soup too and she so what kind I said broccoli cheddar and she said what size I what ever size comes in a pick 2 is fine. That’s when she got mad and started to throw away my lettuce into the garbage and then rudely put my soup into a cup. I didn’t say anything I just paid and walked out. As I was walking out I could hear her tell her co-worker about the soup and was making a big a deal the soup. I ignored and walked out. I wanted to leave this review for a reason.
