Three things I love about Heyday Bakery:

The Flavors: there is something elevated about the variety of items made by Heyday Bakery! Not just typical cookies and cakes, they come up with interesting and new combinations, textures, flavors. It makes me more excited about indulging my sweet tooth, because it's not just a sweet -- it's an experience! They truly make unique items you won't find at other bakeries.

Everything Freezes Well: I have really enjoyed savoring my boxes over the course of a month -- and to do so, I've refrigerated and frozen the items I wanted to save for later. Both methods worked extremely well, and when the items were defrosted or reheated later, they maintained their texture and tasted just as fresh! I did this with some cookies I'd saved from the box before last -- and then popped them out of the freezer to enjoy with a friend. I just warmed them at low power in the microwave for 30-40 sec and they were just as chewy and delicious as they were when they arrived! I also love that each item is in a package of 1-2 pieces (or a cute little 5-6 piece tray for Macarons!!) so they're easy to store, freeze, or even hand out as spontaneous gifts!

It Just Feels Nice to Get Something in the "Slow Mail" once in awhile: I loooooove services like beauty or wellness boxes, monthly subscription samplers or planners, etc. So it's no wonder I love these boxes -- they're so cute and bright, and it feels so special to get something so beautifully curated in the mail once a month! (And that I get the vibe without a bunch of extra "stuff" -- because it's consumable!)
