Efeste — Attraction in Woodinville

The final straw with our club membership, Big Papa is now sold at Costco, for the same price, if not cheaper than our club price we pay for being members. Have brought it up before to staff that their product was being sold in costco. Each time we were told they sold different varieties to costco, than they do to the club members. Efeste has sold out to Costco, and does not need the help of club members to continue what they are doing. I'll be going in to pick up my last club pickup, and cancel my membership. Not only have we continually been treated poorly at events, to the point where we were turned away from ones we have had reservations for, but seeing the product on the big box shelves was the least appealing thing I have seen Efeste do. As a visitor to the area, I wasn’t aware of this wine brand. Family had set up a tasting session for us so I had no idea what to expect. The winery is located in the warehouse district of Woodinville and their tasting room is cozy, showing how it’s not a huge operation. There were windows into the wine production room which was nice.

We each got a tasting which consisted of 2 whites and 4 reds. The first white, Adrienne, is the best white I’ve ever had! Had to go back for a bottle of this afterward. The reds (Final Final, Big Papa, and their estate Cab Franc) were beautifully balanced and complex.

In short, I stumbled upon my favorite white wine here. Can’t wait until they get national distribution so I can have some over on...

I don't leave a lot of reviews, but thought necessary in this case. My wife and I visited Efeste a couple months ago with our two newborn girls and felt at home. Erica took care of us and displayed great knowledge of wine and turned out her husband (the Chef) had prepared a menu the we indulged on. Two glasses of wine turned into a few more, full dinner, and signed up for the wine club. Initially, going to get out of the house and get a glass of wine turned into our new spot. Allowing children and having amazing food adds tremendously to the wine! Lastly, Sara helped me out on my birthday and made the visit 5*. Sara's knowledge with both food and wine are outstanding. I could go on, but I'll keep it at this. You get the point....
